I visited this place and had the worst food of my life. Earlier, it was called Kandha Vilas, but now it's Devar Unavagam. I was the one who convinced my friend to try this hotel, and I felt so bad about it. When I got to the table, I saw a lot of food spilled underneath--it was weird. The food itself was terrible. When I told the owner that it didn't taste good, he simply said, "Is it? We will improve." Main problem is there no tiffin ! I strongly suggest avoiding this place for now .
Horrible experience. Chair had spilled food. When we asked to clean, server asked us to adjust and sit. Not sure why people put up with this. We are not getting free food. Geetham next to MGM is no better.
Very small outlet. Food is not so great. Had Mini Breakfast for Rs 120. Quantity is full but taste is very average. The Kara chutney was salty Sambar was very average taste The coffee was not thick and strong.
Worst meals we ever had in Chennai. Too much spicy. Not recommended for kids and family. Not worth for money.

Now name is changed devar unavagam. Ambience is not good and clean. Food is very bad.
Took a parcel of Pongal. No chutney given. Rasam was given as sambar. Worst service and dishes. Happened for the second time. Will not step in again.
