Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Vinee Pradeepan

We were here couple of months ago. Called and asked if there was crowd and if we could be there by 10. In spite of calling, we had to wait a whole 45 minutes. The staf are good people, but didn't find them to know customer service or to run the operations of a restaurant. The food was average, the plates and spoons needed help. Didn't even get a tissue inspite of requesting multiple time (I could see that there was no coordination.) Definitely, wouldn't visit again.

I went for lunch but ended up with bad experience. The service was very poor. We had to wait for like 30-40 min post ordering. And coming to the chicken it had blood in it but when asked they defended saying this is how it would be since it's a leg piece. You can try their biriyani if needed. Need a lot of work around

Budget friendly and located in a very cool place. Hanging out with friends and family will be good. Everything is good especially fish and beef. Ghee rice is a must try . Price is very less , two omelette costs just 30rs here . If you have time and looking for a best place with affordable price this is it.

Decent restaurant near MCC college. Moderate sized not much chair seats available. Friendly staff. Decent food. There are Malayali staffs. Good service. The rate is average. We had chicken briyani, kerala rice meals both non veg and veg, chatti choru and chapati and chicken roast. The briyani was over cooked. Being the keralite the rice didn't meet the expectations but it is okay. The chicken roast and chatti choru was good. Parking facility is not available there is only road side parking. The wash area is really small and there was no hand wash. The AC there also seems very old and not cleaned.

We stopped by Kerala Corner bec of its attractive lights glowing in the dark st, and it was nothing short of magical. We indulged in their Kerala beef curry and appam, a divine combination tat tantalized our taste buds. But the highlight was a new item,PAAL PAROTTA. Served in a hot mud pot with dum, it was an explosion of flavors and layers, simply irresistible and soul-warming. The ambiance was enchanting, adorned with charming mirchi lights tat twinkled like stars, complementing the chill breeze of the rainy day. As we dined, the delightful muddy and woody aroma from the nearby Madras Christian College campus filled the air, creating a nostalgic and serene atmosphere. It was a special day, made unforgettable by the delicious food and the perfect setting. Kerala Corner Hotel has truly captured a piece of Kerala's heart. A must-visit food spot in tambaram. Negatives : restroom very poor

The food was so good ... And their Briyani was so tasty... Must try Kerala style Briyani... Their parotta was also so soft and a must try spot near Tambaram.. But serving takes a lot of time ... Need so much of patience..

Located opposite MCC backgate, Kerala Corner stands out as a hotspot for students and families seeking authentic Kerala cuisine. Despite initial skepticism due to lower reviews, the dining experience surpassed all expectations, earning a solid five-star rating. The food quality and taste were extraordinary, with standout dishes like their renowned parota and flavorful meat masala and chicken offerings. Service was commendable, and while the ambience was deemed "okish," the prices were notably nominal. For those craving Kerala cuisine, especially for dinner or lunch, Kerala Corner comes highly recommended.

This is more like a college canteen kind of restaurant. Prices are decent but taste is missing. Beef items lacking taste, especially southern part of Keralites may not like this at all. Another issue is the waiting time. Its too long. The basic ingredient "taste" is the most missing. Kappa biryani was average and pal porotta wasn't have any taste at all. Also chattichoru with white rice is not good again.
