Khalid's Briyani velachery

This restaurant is not functioning fully. Very less items on the menu and that too not available. Most of the items we asked for was not available. Taste wise food is good and quantity is also in good portion. no deserts available other than ice cream that too very limited choice.

Ordered Mutton XL Biryani for Takeaway and received Chicken instead. Not picking up the calls after botching up peoples order feels intentional. Is this how you guys conduct business? Making people find out after they reach home to cheat them is a great business model. Velachery branch, Y'all should be ashamed.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The menu offered a wide variety of mouthwatering options, each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me satisfied yet still wanting more. Overall, the restaurant exceeded my expectations.

After 3 years I've visited Khalid biryani to have one of my favourite food crab lollipops and their biryani. Even after years I've felt their taste remains the same and I've enjoyed it. Since I went late for lunch mutton biriyani was over but chicken biriyani was there. Apart from crab lollipop and biriyani we've ordered egg fried rice, mushroom noodles, Gobi 65 and Egg kothu porota. All the dishes were good we've enjoyed. If you're a biriyani lover do give a try.

Out side look and side ambiance was really nice, parking was in road, it's in first floor and ground floor is for take aways. We have visited this place on a Friday evening at 7:30pm and the name says Biryani depot but when we were ordering he had restricted saying they are only serving mutton biryani, we even tried to ask for plain biryani egg biryani but he denied which is way disappointing no where it matched with the name. Later ordered what he was ready to serve. We had nattu chicken rasam soup Plz note it's exactly like rasam sour taste can't have much be sure before u order. Even in chicken tikka masala too much sour taste it shud be creamy and soft but it was way different or he mixed in cooking not sure. What ever with little disappointment Food was good enjoyed as much as possible what was ordered but stepped out without eating what we wanted. It wasn't to late to say no for Biryani. Good luck

Mutton biriyani costs 330 & chicken biriyani costs 230. The taste of masala was ok, the rice could've cooked a little as I found it to be little raw. The roadside view ambience from the first floor was good. They also offer sides, we ordered baby corn 65 which cost around 195 but unfortunately it was over fried and that smoky smell hits our taste buds hard which made us to stop from going to next bite. They over a pudina dip and mayonnaise which went well with that. Overall an average taste food with overpriced rates!

I am great fan of Khalids biriyani and just tried here after seeing many food reviews. Khalids is a brand for their authentic biriyani, but i was little disappointed after having their mutton biriyani which was a bit dry and mutton piece was less in portion. Fish BBQ was average in taste as the fish was small is size and tasted their chciken lollypop which was also below average in taste. Overall experience was not so good being here instead i would buy biriyani from their cloud kitchen (chrompet)

A small place with great flavour. Biriyani specialist with more items in the menu. Well balanced spices without overwhelming your taste buds.
