Kumarakom The Restaurant

I have visited the restaurant twice and the food was very tasty and authentic. All the side dishes of the meal is worth mentioning, especially the lemon pickle that they provide only on request. Overall the meals was good,were-as the service needs some good help.

Good option in MGR road for people who love Kerala food. The taste is really good and the service is good. The ambience would have been on par with the taste and service if the place was had air conditioners. I go here regularly for the kozhi parotto and egg roast with appam.

Had ordered Kappa from here through swiggy on 26th may Sunday night along with other items. But they sent Kappa which was smelling stale and was on the verge of getting rotten. Never expected Kumarakom who i had been patronizing for several years to do this and there was no refund or replacement when complained to Swiggy for this. Pathetic & disappointed with this kind of careless service from the restaurant.

That was a great experience from this outlet. I ordered beef ularthiyadhu and beef roast and was 100% satisfied. Firstly the packaging was on point and there was no spill. Secondly the quantity was sufficient and it was worth for the price paid. Thirdly, the taste was on top notch and was spicy to my taste level. Beef ularthiyadhu was so good and that's my personal favorite now. Beef roast was good but felt it was little sweeter rather being spicy and was too oily. The beef pieces in both the dishes were cooked so well and was very easy to munch on. Just enjoyed its taste and a must visit place for the beef lovers in authentic kerala style.

If you're going to Kumarakom Restaurant in Perungudi, just get a parcel and leave. The service here is really poor, but the food is really good. The price is a bit on the expensive side for many dishes. But the true value for money dish is Meals, you'll get tasty veg meal for just 100. All other dishes were expensive. There is no air conditioning here. The atmosphere is quite dull and not worth the price you're paying for. And the worst experience was the service. We had to ask 4 times for some hot water. The third time I went to the kitchen to ask for water. Even then they said they'll bring it but didn't. Then the 4th time, we almost shouted at them, after that only we got water. Even after all this, I'm still giving 3 stars coz the food here is good. If you get a good offer in Swiggy or Zomato, buy from there. The price is the same.

A good kerala restaurant in chennai. Good quality in kerala meals. Best presenting and taste is also good. Atmosphere need to improve and genuine pricing also.

Authentic Kerela cuisines, all are must try. Taste and Service both are much Great.

Food was such a delight. I always come back for their puttu combos, appam and beef dishes.
