Food is very tasteful, quality ingredients,nice staff behaviour,wide selection of Italian as well as Mexican cuisine,overall very delightful experience.

All the appetisers were really good. The food was amazing especially the thin crust pizzas, the fungi trifolani and the cheesy garlic bread. The desserts were delicious. The service by Mr. Satyajit was very warm and welcoming as well

It proudly proclaims the 35 year pedigree. And at the time when they started out, Italian food in Chennai would have been a tough sell. Topped off by the fact that the dishes are all vegetarian. This is a crowded location off the swanky KNK road. The low ceilings as you enter give it a compressed look. But it is spread across a larger floor area and we found that quite a few families were already occupying the bigger space inside . The children at a table close by were making their opinions clear. One of them wanted to go straight to ice cream. The compromise was a board game until the food arrived The ceiling is decorated with what looks like wine barrel lids. Perhaps it is unique but in a space that requires to improve space perceptions, it may not have been the optimal choice. The service is pleasant and quick. We ordered the Passato De Verdure, a vegetarian soup. Good thick vegetarian stock with the roasted croutons adding a crunchy touch The Special Enchiladas were served with a pineapple salsa and cream. Went down well and the flavours were fresh and tangy The veg quesadilla was quite heavy. We opted for a small portion and packed the rest. The prices are definitely high - 5 star for 3 star ambience. You have to keep that in mind when you decide to make a visit. We skipped dessert even though the menu offered a wide choice. Parking is cramped but a valet takes that job off your hands. We went for the Mexican dishes this time but the Italian ones await. Some other time. Maybe.

Fabulous dinner at Little Italy. Amazed by the very good quality of ingredients, especially in the burratta capresse. Gauranga was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. Definitely coming again. Grateful to India for giving high quality, pure vegetarian authentic italian cuccina to us!

Very disappointed I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant last night. I booked a table through Dineout and waited for my friend, but when they couldn't make it, I had to cancel the plan. I explained the situation to the restaurant manager and ordered a blueberry cheesecake, only to be treated like a beggar. The lack of respect and courtesy was shocking. If this is how they treat customers over a single dessert, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone. It's clear that they have no moral standards when it comes to customer service. Dining at Little Italy, Nungambakkam was nothing short of a delightful culinary experience. Our table for three--and our ever-charming companion, Tux the Penguin, who was warmly welcomed as the fourth--was attended to by Mr. Gauranga and Mr. Manik, both of whom ensured our evening was as memorable as the food itself. The warmth of the service was evident right from the beginning. Mr. Manik, with his thoughtful gesture, set a small plate and spoon for Penguin, an act that truly encapsulated the restaurant's hospitality. Taking Mr. Gauranga's recommendation, we ordered the Pasta Barbaresca and Bombay Classic Pizza, a choice we would soon realize was nothing short of perfect. When Mr. Manik gracefully served us the Pasta Barbaresca, we knew we were in for a treat. The dish featured perfectly cooked fusilli pasta enveloped in a velvety white sauce, infused with the richness of broccoli, mushrooms, and aromatic herbs. The sauce, creamy yet light, coated each spiral of fusilli flawlessly, delivering a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The subtle hints of garlic and the gentle seasoning elevated the dish, making every bite an indulgence. Next arrived the Bombay Classic Pizza, a masterpiece of simplicity and indulgence. The thin, crisp flat base provided the perfect foundation for a lavish topping of melted mozzarella, tender paneer cubes, and earthy mushrooms. Each bite offered a delightful contrast--gooey cheese stretching with every forkful, the paneer adding a subtle richness, and the mushrooms imparting their deep umami essence. With every bite, the flavors deepened, making it one of those rare dishes that somehow tastes better with every slice. Just as we thought our meal had reached its perfect conclusion, Mr. Gauranga approached our table with an unexpected gesture--a complimentary Kiwi Pastry. The light, airy sponge was beautifully complemented by the refreshing tartness of kiwi, creating a dessert that was both delicate and indulgent. This thoughtful touch left us not only satisfied but genuinely delighted. We left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs, already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was incredibly delicious and truly authentic, just as the name promises. The garlic bread was so soft, it was the best I've ever had. The pizza had a perfect thin crust, and the tiramisu was on par with what you'd find in Europe. The service was great, and Satyajit was very polite. A special thanks to Chef Rakhi for preparing this amazing meal.
