Amazing atmosphere. So much crowd outdoors for their special bun with butter and jam also falooda. Mutton biryani is really delicious and authentic. Would highly recommend it. Also their hot chai was very good. Even though it's packed, their service is excellent, no delays. Do try it, you won't be disappointed.

Recently visited Mount Road Bilal - ECR for a late-night dinner around 10 PM, and it turned out to be a satisfying experience. The ambiance was pleasant and suitable for late diners, with a clean and comfortable setting. We started with Mutton Paya Gravy, paired with Idiyappam and Egg Appam. The paya was a bit on the spicier side, but it balanced beautifully with the softness of the idiyappam and the rich texture of the egg appam. The flavors were authentic and comforting, especially for those who enjoy traditional South Indian non-veg gravies. Next, we ordered the Mutton Chukka along with Parotta. The chukka was a highlight--freshly prepared, perfectly spiced, and cooked to tender perfection. It paired wonderfully with the flaky, well-made parotta. The service was decent, and the food arrived hot and on time despite the late hour. The total bill came to around 900, which I felt was reasonable given the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for late-night cravings, especially for meat lovers. Would definitely recommend trying the mutton dishes here!

Over hyped "Bun butter Jam" didn't taste up to the hype for me. Biryani was good. Kushka - plain biryani was not available (perhaps due to Ramzan). It was extremely crowded around 1:30pm, however they have enough seating capacity. Overall it was good and we loved the food.

Visited Bilal on Mount Road and tried some of the popular YouTube-famous snacks - mutton samosa, softy, tea, and bun butter jam. The mutton samosa was really good, especially when paired with the green chutney. The softy was excellent, though it was a bit on the pricier side. The bun butter jam, however, didn't live up to the hype. Despite the heavy rush, the service was quick and efficient. Worth a visit, but not everything was as amazing as expected.

I don't quite understand the hype around Bilal, especially in the Mount Road and ECR. I've traveled across Chennai multiple times and have often seen this overcrowded teashop. Curious to experience it, I visited for the first time, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The place was overcrowded, and the prices were on the higher side for something as simple as bun butter jam, which I've definitely had better versions of at other places. Then I thought may be that can happen on one or other day. Out of curiosity again visited the place but no much improvement. That said, Bilal can be a good spot for friends to gather and enjoy a casual tea together. It's more about the social experience than the food itself. If you're looking for a lively spot to hang out with friends, this could be a place to consider, but don't expect anything extraordinary in terms of food quality.

I like to order the following dishes here 1. Bun butter jam 2. Mutton samosa 3. Mutton halim during Ramsan times 4. Mutton Biriyani 5. Tea Every thing here is excellent. The biriyani here is very unique and it comes with brinjal curry and raita.

Recently visited this non-veg restaurant, and it lived up to its reputation! The ambiance was nice, creating a great dining atmosphere. The food tasted really good, especially the mutton biryani, which remains an all-time favorite. Since the place is always full, there was a 10-minute wait, but it was worth it. Overall, a great spot for non-veg lovers, and I'd definitely visit again!
