I miss the authentic taste of podi idli at this place.. The taste could be enhanced, but I appreciate the good service and ample parking space.. Coffee is okay and Vada maintains its delightful crispiness and flavor as usual.. #Sha'sReview

I have been visiting Murugan Idli Shop, but the taste and quantity has become worse. However, the poor service and poorly maintained cleanliness in the restaurant disappointed me a lot. The jigirthanda was very bad and not tasty. Though the restaurant was not so crowded it took almost 15 mins for a server to attend to me. The food was okay. I ordered Ghee Podi which was okay. The items are getting bad day by day. They got limited parking space in front of the restaurant. The hygiene of the restaurant could be better. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Visited this franchise after a long 8 9 years gap.. last time it was Besant Nagar one .. this time porur.. Shop is looking old in the interior, was having a doubt when entered this like is the first copy??? Ordered their trademark podi idly and sweet Pongal.. Their taste isn't changed they are keeping their standards.. 4 types of chutneys.. Sambar.. Their sweet Pongal tastes like prasadham.. they serve in small thonna cup.. gone for onion oothappam.. that also not bad in taste .. over all it is good satisfying experience though we had limited food .. Will try their other food menu next time soon ..

urguan Idly provided excellent service, with soft, flavorful idlis and delicious chutneys. Waiter Ilayaraja was attentive, friendly, and ensured a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend!

Very good vegetarian hotel in the Porur area. Serving food in Banana Leaf is very good. Their Idili and Dosa has high Quality and authentic South Indian. I eat here very often and sambar is exceptionally good. My favorite is Poondu podi idili and their yummy Sambar. Good service by all the people inside the hotel.

Worst service i have ever get it before , after 15mints servers are asking wat we need , each and every time we need to call them for sambar , chutni , etc , I called more than 10-15times for all my family members , later they gave me a wrong billing of adding extra dosa rate , wen I asked they are telling billing can't b revised ....worst people . I won't recommend this for any children for rest room & food .

She considered our emergency and needfullness and the taste of the food which we ordered.........Mrs.usha who prepared and gave us kuzhi paniyaram with in minutes....... Hands off for her and the Entire team .....thank you so much everyone......

No complaints regarding the food here. Meals was available at a decent rate. The service was also good, unfortunately I can't say the same regarding the billing system being followed here. A friend of mine asked for an extra cup of curd but I was shocked to see an extra rupees 11 being charged for that. I know it's not a huge issue but we were given the cup after we finished eating everything right before they came with the bill. I'll be back for more soon, hope they don't disappoint the next time.
