Nandhana Palace - Andhra Style Restaurant - Velachery

Mouth watering food. Delicious. All the dishes were good. Normal ambience. During weekends waiting time is the only bad thing we faced. Apart from that I had an excellent experience, quick servings and staffs are polite.

I had high expectations for Nandhana palace given its strong reputation and brand value, but my recent visit was nothing short of disappointing. The ambiance and service were decent, but the real issue was the food quality. Found a fly dead in my food! This is completely unacceptable for a restaurant having branches accross Chennai. It raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety. For the price and reputation, I expected much better.

One of the worst restaurants that I have ever seen. We ordered meals,. briyani and egg fried rice in zomato and they missed meals while delivering which is not the mistake of the delivery person. We called the restaurant to check the same and they are showing attitude to us. Later we came to the restaurant to check the footage and came to know that the mistake was with the restaurant. They literally tried to guilt trip me as that the amount they have to refund is from their salary. So how come the food we ordered came from then. Worst food and also their egg fried rice is really horrible. Please don't try. Their attitude really sucked. PLEASE DONT TRY.

Tasty food makes happy mood. Food is really delicious and authentic. Tried special meal thali and I had good experience. The price justifies the surroundings, the hygiene, the service and yess the taste. If you wanna experience taste of authentic south indian food I'll suggest try this one for sure. Ambience and surrounding was fine. Only concern is with the staff - My order took 15 min to get ready which is fine but when I asked for lemon, gravy and extra rice I need to ask 2-3 times to manager and waiters too which is unexpected. Hope they'll improve it.

Terrible service! The manager had an awful attitude--nowhere have I seen a worse display of hospitality. Completely uninterested in sharing the menu, barely provided details about special dishes, and made us wait without reason. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to mock customers behind their backs. Absolutely unacceptable, especially for a place that claims to serve authentic Andhra cuisine. Would never recommend as long as this manager is around! That said, barring this manager, the other waiters and staff members were polite. The ambience was good, and the restaurant served authentic Andhra food. However, the only disappointment was the 'Chicken Kshatriya' dish, which was recommended by my respected manager.

I recently visited Nandhana Palace andhra style restaurant in Chennai and I was blown away by the delicious and authentic Andhra style food they served. The flavors were spot on and reminded me of home-cooked meals from my childhood. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasing, with traditional decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly, attentive and made sure our dining experience was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try some of the best Andhra style food in Chennai. You won't be disappointed!

Had chicken biriyani today. It's best. The pieces are very very soft boneless. It's not Hyderabad style, for which I'm a big fan. But still loved it. The chiken sides wer also great. Price if all dishes are around 300+. The settings and atmosphere are good as well. They serve in plantain leaves which is a thumbsup factor
