Navaladi Kongu Style Hotel in Poonthamallee, Chennai, serves generous portions of flavorful Kongu-style biryani. We went for breakfast at Sunday morning 8am. They are preparing the breakfast, they could have informed us that but even being there for 15mins none of them asked wat we want. And they were busy in packing Pongal for a bulk order. All the dump things are put in hand wash area not clean at all. Don't know how the hell there kitchen will be.. Those idilli with heavy garlic smelled coconut chutney is not worth for 17rs. Idillis 105rs... Never recommend the hotel for breakfast... Not worth it.

Kongu style recipes are good especially on nalli roast. Mutton Biriyani is not available at the time of visit. And we bought a plain briyani that was not hot.... The atmosphere and paintings are very nice.

The ambience is average, parking space for cars is available but very limited. The food tasted good, we went there as they have non veg meals on the menu, they have more varieties on the menu but in reality they have only limited items, meaning they have special meals etc but in reality they have one veg meal and one non veg meal. All the other items like biryani, fried rice etc were available too. One chicken 65 were provided to us as complimentary for their anniversary. We had vanjaram fish fry which tasted like an old one, so please avoid fish items here. Regarding service they have very limited people to serve, so they were not able to serve properly as the place is crowded.

If you are expecting hygiene and hospitality please don't go, two instances happened, spoon was slipped and fall on floor guys use that again another took a ice cream from the freezer placed in restaurant that ice was frozen like anything when ask about that the guys there want me to wait for 10 minutes and one guy saying please talk to sir for 10 minutes in that would turn good, when ask for refund the guy who claim himself owner fighting and shouting at my face like anything poor customer service attached pic of the ice cream even I reached home and this was frozed like anything

1. Food was average. Briyani had some authentic taste with blended spices but the non-veg meals were below average as the gravy they provided lacked the non-veg flavour. The meals menu is confusing and we have to show what we need exactly in the menu card. 2. The service is very poor. There were only two or three suppliers for the entire restaurant despite our visit during the exact peak lunch time. The soup which was a part of Non-veg special meals came to me while we were about to have our rasam. The service is very erratic. 3. Despite being an Air conditioned restaurant the AC units were switched off and there were no fans as well.

Extraordinary food service Best quality foods, quantity of dishes is worth for money, we visited this place as group of 15 people but 2 of them are vegetarian surprisingly vegetarian dishes have fine quality as well as taste
