I came here for dinner and was surprised by the limited menu for vegetarians. The staff was lovely and provided great service, however a few things that I suggest could be improved upon are: - The seating situation was uncomfortable. Most of the chairs they had were small stools with no back support. Only a few spots offered back support. We were lucky enough to be able to move to a table with seating that provided back support. - The price to quantity ratio is not justifiable. While I understand this is a premium establishment and meant to be a fine dining place; paying 2000 rupees for one medium size bowl of dal is too much. It felt as if the prices were set to fleece foreign tourists and guests staying at the hotel. - Limited menu for vegetarians was definitely a surprise. While not a bad thing to have a limited spread and focus on quality, I felt as if that wasn't accomplished either. It lacked in variety and that special touch you expect. On the flip side though the service was immaculate, and when the staff came to know that my wife and I were celebrating an anniversary, they surprised us with a cake. Overall this isn't a place I would visit again. It was a new experience that I had wanted to try for a while, but I wasn't left feeling the desire to revisit. It was certainly a one and done.

This is my treat go to restaurant whilst in Chennai, amazing food, the Lobster is fantastic!! Great service from the friendly and helpful staff.

Saptak and his team took such great care of us. First time in India and we are loving it. I had the fish tikka and garlic naan. The british empire beer was also very good - similar to Heineken but with a richer flavor profile. I'm glad we didn't have to leave the hotel our first day so we can relax and enjoy.

The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any request. They made sure that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, the Peshawri restaurant at the ITC Grand Chola is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine Indian cuisine. It's a culinary gem that I highly recommend.

Although pricey for the local area, the food here is delicious and worth every cent. We tried a range of appetisers and main course food and everything was delectable. We spent a couple of hours at the restaurant and the staff were constantly attentive and friendly.

Very bad experience. Went there with high hopes as I have been to their itc maratha in mumbai and that was exceptionally good and great food and service even when the restaurant was too crowded. It was just the opposite here. Although we went there for dinner with less crowd, the food was terrible. We went for set menu and only panner and dal was good rest was way below average. Waste of money! Will go back to itc maratha mumbai. Only ambience and service was good.
