We ordered BBQ platter, all the flavours was unique and Nice.. Supervisor Kamal given warm & kind service with proper guidance of choosing menu.. finally ended up with Sagar special falooda was also nice...

We had a very good experience at Sagar Restaurant in Guindy. The staff was polite and they helped us in getting us combined table of 16ppl to sit together. The food was good, almost all the types, mutton chukka, chicken Chettinad, fish fry in big plate, finger fish, prawn fries, crab soup, it was a very yummy food we all had. As we went late in the night here by 10pm, some of the biriyanis were over like prawn & chicken types. Adequate parking facility, to park around 10 cars in their ground floor

I recently dined here which offered a variety of vegetarian dishes, including Gobi fried rice, mushroom noodles, kedai paneer, kulcha, butter naan, sweet corn soup, and manchow soup. The veg food was delightful, especially the Gobi fried rice and mushroom noodles. However, I was disappointed to find that they didn't have any stuffed kulcha or other stuffed items available. Despite this, the food was very good overall. The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. The food was served hot and on-time. The only drawback was that the chicken soup was unexpectedly sweet and kedai paneer quantity was less. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant is famous and i been to there two times. Food quality was okay not bad, i like the grilled fish but biriyani they served was not upto the mark. Small place but the ambiance was good. I really appreciate the service they are really good.

Today, during my visit to Sagar Restaurant for dinner, I was served water from a rusted jug where the water was stored. This water was provided to me as drinking water, and I unknowingly drank it. When I raised the issue, their response was vague and showed no concern for public health. Such negligence in serving potentially harmful food and water is a serious issue and completely unacceptable.

Quite an old place.. Sagar is a good brand for multi cuisine food... Idiyappam and their Paya is sooo yummmmm.. You could smell the non veg once u enter... One star down for the parking arrangement.. they couldn't do much with the limited space available... Mughalai gravies are too good.. wheat Paratha goes well with their butter chicken and paneer butter masala.. Their boneless chicken 65 has an amazing flavor.. Arabian Grape juice is a definite try..

Good location.. Wonderful ambience and service... And tasty dishes. In fact we were even served welcome drink - watermelon juice. We ordered the below dishes: Nandu soup - 4/5 Grill chicken -4.5/5 Fish fingers - 5/5 Butter Naan and butter chicken masala - 5/5
