SangeethaExpress Veg Restaurant

It was a family get together with my father in law 80th bday, so we dropped in here for dinner. A close group of family. I usually have a reserved choice for Sangeeta veg restaurant. My usual order would be simple South Indian tiffins and generally avoid anything else. But our group ordered Chilly paneer, Gobi Manchurian, mushroom soup. The starters were quickly brought in, quite okay nothing much to pin point. Then came the mushroom soup, this was a real spoiler! Thick cornflour base soup with small pieces of fried mushroom floating in. Absolutely pathetic!!! For our main course, mushroom masala, paneer tikka masala and rotis, Naan were sent for. Such a simple, standard order. What could possibly go wrong. It bloody did. The gravies were fine but the Rotis and Naan were horrible. A italian cook would have made a better roti. Tandoori Roti, thin. Stretchy, not at all fluffy crunchy. Nothing. Like it was made on a Tava, not a tandoor. The Butter Naan was on a 6 months diet! Chewy, flat, thin. Horrible, horrible. I complained, and was told a fresh ones would be brought, but by the time, the gravies would be cold and everyone's appetite was long gone. Ordered some fresh juice and made a note not to visit this branch again. Thanks but no thanks

Ordered Special South indian thali and north indian thali. Both comes with naan or roti options. With south indial thali we have white rice option. North indian thali comes with pulao. In terms of no of items, it was good. North indian thali has paneer, mushroom, gobi gravy for naan. Don't need to order any other sides. Both comes with some sweet and ice cream as well. So overall it was good. But when it comes to food taste, it was bad. Most of the items were too bland and no flavours at all. Service was good. There is outdoor seating as well.

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. The service was subpar and unfortunately the food didn't make up for it. I ordered the special South Indian meal, which was overpriced at 933 (for 3 meals), I expected more value. Sadly the meal was unremarkable and didn't justify the 'SPECIAL' label. Unless you have no other dining options, I would not recommend this place.

Service good.... Seating arrangement needs improvement in future.. Food is OK but needs some improvement... Outdoor seating is available... Parking huge... Improve hand wash place...

Yesterday visited Sangeetha kovilabakkam on Pongal. The food and service was good as always but surprisingly the staff danced on the occasion, Kudos for their efforts... The restaurant was decorated, few staff dresses in traditional wear, just loved the festival vibe and ambience. Exceptional experience this time at Sangeetha

Excellent food. The quality was evident in each dish. Customer service is also commendable. They serve a wide variety of veg dishes.

Customer handling was very calm and good. Kamala kannan, Rajesh, Ashish, Jaikumar service were neat and clean

I went there for lunch and ordered a meal. The food quality and quantity are excellent for the price. The ambiance is typical of a standard hotel, but the taste of the food is exceptional. I would recommend you are choosing this hotel.
