Selva Vinayaga Chettinad Restaurant

This is an authentic Chettinadu hotel in Kottivakkam, ECR serving delicious, spicy traditional South Indian non vegetarian food, freshly prepared and served hot. Their signature dishes are spicy mutton fry, Goat brain fry, Goat head, Goat intestine masala (Boti) accompanied with Parotta, Dosa and Idli. Additionally Fried rice, Biryani and meals are also served here. The service is quick and price is moderate. Parking is a bit worrying and I usually park my car elsewhere and walk few meters.

Went for Dinner. Taste was good . Tried fish curry and prawn with idly . Prawn fry was n't too spicy which was feel good.The best part is that I haven't got any stomach upset the next day because usually I would face issues if I consume fries . Service was excellent especially waitress was polite and gave me suggestions for recipes. You can try here for sure

One of the best local food shop here in kottivakkam. They serve the best chutney for idly and dosa. Also, their non veg side dishes are too good to try. I have been here several times and the service is also decent. One of the best sides of non veg was chicken eeral pepper. It was too good that I had it almost every week for a month. To try affordable cost effective good local food around Kottivakkam, this is your go to place.

Great food. The chef is really experienced and does a great job. Except biryani most of the items they do are really tasty. If the chef is unable to come they just close the restaurant instead of running it with secondary person. Just to ensure they don't lose on quality. There is no restroom available, car parking only in ECR main road which is dangerous. Bikes can be parked.

It is more of an average pocket friendly hotel with desi dishes. They serve all varieties of non veg like squid, crab, lamb brain etc , I won't say they are 100% hygienic in serving etiquettes.The seating is open and you can't expect family spaces ..So once in a while you can go for pocket friendly starters and side dishes .

Worst experience! The staffs were really rude and they didn't even answer your query properly. The owner is the worst not fit to run this particular welcoming hotel. They literally cheated for our take away parcel by not adding the order. Even though your dying on hungry never get into this hotel.

Well the overall feel of the restaurant is good but there are still few things that they can work on , food is good but when going in a large group they don't have a good seating arrangement.
