Smoke Hub BBQ - Chrompet (Pallavaram)

We went there for my wife's birthday on weekends they have 2 slots for lunch one is 12:30 to 2:30 and the second one is 2:30 to 4:30. We booked it for the second one and the price is 650+ tax for adults and 319+tax for kids 5 and below complimentary. I paid 1805 for 2 adults and one kid. 1. This is located on the 6th floor in the same building some small startups and few small IT companies are running most of the building spaces are empty. 2. If you are new to that area you can't find any restaurant board outside the building, initially we thought it was some kind of IT company building so we wasted a few mins to find this restaurant and roads are very narrow to enter into the building, but you have plenty of car parking space. 3. Due to the loss of a few mins we entered the restaurant around 2:50 PM. We settled there around 3 PM.... Service was a bit slow and they said clearly till 3.30 PM only you will get all starters after 3.30 PM Kitchen will be closed only live counters will be available till 4.30PM. due to my wife's birthday I didn't say anything somehow we managed/tried with in half an hour for all starters but few things we didn't get repetedly. Live counters service is also not up to the mark. But my kids are not satisfied with the food because they had very small quantity. 4.Positive things - We got complimetry cake for birthday person and small kids play area is there inside the restaurant. Somehow we engaged our kids there to make them happy before coming out. 5.Overall experience one time visit only. If they consider to improve the below suggestions then may try again. 6.Suggestions for them need to improve food and service quality, starters time they can increase from 1hr to 1.5 hrs really this will be very much helpful for kids and please keep your restaurant add/ board in the entrance of building to identify easily.

Food quality and taste is very worst. They are offering 50% dis count but the snacks and main course is not at all good. They need to improve lot. Only part is desserts pastry are good. Other than that. In veg the options are very little. Should use thiruneermalai signal service road to reach the location otherwise it would be difficult to reach mainly for car. There is no u turn. Just end of the flyover. Two wheeler also bit risky.

Recently dined at smokehub chrompet and was extremely disappointed. The Reservation done by one person and there were no co-ordination between store and reservation, thus have to pay more than what had been booked. The food was bland and lacked flavor, making the dining experience quite unpleasant. Moreover Chicken was smelly and uncooked. To make matters worse, the service was very poor. The staff were inattentive and unhelpful, the Organizing work is poor which added to the overall negative experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal and decent service.

Don't Dissppoint your family members. See the lift area. Refusal to provide service at 2 to 2.30 Pm - NO MANNERS. Place of no value, but you will be disrespected

We have gathered there for get together with a group of around 50 people. We booked on weekdays night dinner. Food is ok only and service is needed to be improved. First time the dishes are good when you ask for more then they increase the spice level and service is slow. It's the only floor occupied by this restaurant and other floors are empty. So not much crowded and parking facilities are available. It's located on the main road and easily accessible. One has to reserve the seat for buffet and weekends it's costly compared to weekdays. They are giving some offers for ladies and kids. Overall the atmosphere is good but service and food tastes need to be improved.

We went as a big family of ten, so we wanted to join tables to make it a single, large table. The hotel team proactively contacted us beforehand to check on any specific arrangements, which was a very thoughtful gesture and highly appreciated. When it came to the food, they first served their signature dishes, and to be honest, they were finger-licking good! Everyone loved the honey chicken, and the mutton and egg dishes were also excellent. Now, onto the downsides: the barbecues were pretty disappointing, which was surprising and not something we expected. In fact, the standout item in the barbecue section was the grilled pineapples - not even the non-vegetarian options. The self-serve dishes, however, were better. The naan, paneer, and chicken gravies were delicious, and a special mention goes to the dosas with toppings of our choice, which were made to perfection. The mini cakes were delightful as well - I ended up eating about ten of them! As for the other side of the menu, nothing stood out. Most of it was either disappointing or simply there to fill the menu. For instance, the pastas, chaat, donuts, waffles, and even the gulab jamuns were subpar. It seemed like they were included just to expand the menu but didn't add much to the overall experience. Overall, in terms of food quality, the signature dishes, naan, gravies, dosas, and noodles were good. Unfortunately, the rest felt more like a gimmick. On the service front, it was fabulous. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in periodically to make sure we were enjoying the food. When we mentioned that some dishes weren't up to par, he kindly offered us better options. For example, the filling for the pav bhaji was almost as minimal as the butter they used, but when we pointed it out, he quickly brought us extra fillings. He certainly deserves five stars for his excellent service! The atmosphere was good - nothing to complain about there. As for the final verdict, I would say you might be better off dining at another restaurant for this price range. We went because we had a 50% discount on our total bill, which made it worth it, but otherwise, I wouldn't consider it an ideal choice for a barbecue experience.

It was such a horrible experience. It's a lesson once again not to decide a restaurant based on positive reviews. Booked a table for my birthday. He was started also late. And chicken is no heat. And we're especially disappointed with the long hair in the chicken. 4 times we gotten an hair on the chicken, we were totally disappointed. And then dishes are very less and counter all are very full and very late service. And dishes also not available like cakes, jamun etc., Need to be improve: Guys Please need to improve service speed. And then chicken needs to be hot. And plz refill the counters once it was cleared. Note : It's ours humble request plz improve this things, don't disappoint the customers.

All good..there isna delay in serving starters. We need to wait for 5 to 10 min in between.. also no card payments accepted..only cash or gpay
