Thanjavur batchana shop - Veg Mess

I tried their veg meals. Rice is a little hard for me to eat and it's not well mixed with their kolambu. Kara kolambu is average. Sambar is ok. Rasam is good. Moor also fine. But I was expecting more as I saw many people were waiting for their lunch. But I am not fully satisfied at all. Maybe they had given very good meals before. But today I got disappointed.

Some items are good like beetroot poriyal,mor(butter milk),rice is very soft etc,Sambar is not good,they added lemon juice with seeds in Keerai kootu,I had food poisoning now because of it.I suffered a lot last night because of old(mixing previous day preparations)sambar and kootu,vomiting like sensation, today morning big loose motion happened and now my condition is ok.If you have any health issues, your health will be at risk if they serve old dishes daily,healthy people may not notice the difference. I would suggest Tanjavur mess in West Mambalam for healthy and authentic Tanjavur meals.

Homely food. Healthy food. I can eat without fear hereonly. Best home food.
