One of the latest addition to the Chennai city, this Vegetarian Restaurant offers finest foods to the connoisseur like us! . Located on the first floor of another restaurant Patiala House, this Place is good centre for Punjabi food. You get Soup, and number of grilled items as starters on the table. The grill is kept on your table and unlimited varieties are served one by one, all unlimited. Then you have Rotis and Naans waiting to be served with a number of side dishes like dhall Makhani, Dhal Tadka, Malai methi matar, Dhaba style Paneer, Chana Masala, followed by Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian Gravy and Special Dum Briyani. You have lot of salads to support and Kheer ( Phirni sweet) to end. Chat items like Paani Poori is also there to attract children. Items are tasty and served hot. The ambience is good with good decor and friendly staff. The rates are reasonable at a price of Rs 700 per person in buffet style. Valet Parking is available. When we came out with satisfied meal, we found a good crowd was waiting and rightly so. Go by 1230 to make an early entry to grab a seat! Enjoy with family a sumptuous food.

The ambience is awesome. Well light and smells good. The smoky bbq(coal) smell isn't there since they have an power exhaust near each table. Quick service and the staff were efficient. Loved the variety.

This is one of several restaurants that have opened in the last year or so along Spur Tank Road. Almost all of them serve North Indian cuisine, which makes it fairly unusual for Chennai The place was crowded with lots of people waiting in rows of chairs on the ground floor. We had originally planned to go to Patiala House on the ground floor but it looks like Angara Grill House is related or run by the same management. So a Punjabi Dhaba with stuffed sofas, fairly confused decor with wood paneling in certain places and lights that sparkled right across. A huge painting of a rural Punjabi couple dominated one wall. On the other was a massive GOOD FOOD sign. The 'O's were all bicycle tyres and the other letters were made of plastic. Like I said earlier, this was probably designed by a family committee. Since there were just the two of us, we thought we'd get a table faster. And we did. Except that it was a six seater! And all the other tables had large groups of 8-10 people. Whole families with kids. The noise level in the restaurant is high. And thumping loud Western music blares. The menu was a folded poster with standard North Indian offerings. We ordered Dhaba Paneer, Pudina Paratha and a mixed raita. The food was served quickly and meets expectations. Rather than focus on presentation, it was served in copper bowls with long handles. Kitschy design dominates including the serving of the saunf at the end. And a pehredaar at the entrance. As long as you want a decent choice of well made North India food and like the busy vibe, it's worth the money. All the waiters wear black T-shirts with I AGH prominently stamped on them. Another touch picked up from some remote design influence. The stretch gets crowded during dinner time, so the valets have their hands full. And it does get chaotic, especially when you're retrieving your vehicle

Don't listen to the haters go and try the buffet one of the best veg buffet in good price. -The ambiance was nice very spacious. -The starters was the thing that got my attention. -The dinner is okish...Can have but noddles was not that good.. Pros: 1. Restaurant ambience is good. 2. Somewhat spacious compared to other barbeque restaurants. 3. Tomato soup was good. Cons: 1. Welcome drink was not provided. 2. As we went with kids, our expectation is atleast they'll have white rice/ curd rice will be ther in buffet but it was not. A huge let down. 3. There was no dish which had aloo/Gopi. This is the first time I am seeing a vegetarian restaurant without serving them. Another let down. 4. All the items were bland. Pani Puri water provided was similar to the drainage water which was stagnant outside the restaurant. Overall review: will not recommend to anyone

We were waiting for long.. its not properly planned. They don't accept prior booking also.. however even if you book 10 days before , people were waiting.. wats the difference?? About food, literally we were waiting for grill and they said No grill with some reason like ut become smoky.. serious?? Why it is named as Grill house then ?? Very less options in startes and main course. It was only average taste. Not worth for 680 per head. Disappointing! Parents lost the thoughts of going ever to any Grill house because of our today's experience. It's only 0.5 star! Never seen a restaurant were people have to wait for so long and then our plate is resting on table.. we have to directly start main course untill they serve starters. Hamari to bhug ki MIT gai with today's experience.

Very very tasty food they served. But, only disappointment is they could not serve within considerable when we order any time ie. Delay in service. Otherwise, good hotel.
