This place was on my list for ages but I never managed to go somehow so this time I was around ECR, made it a point to stop here. The food was pretty decent - seafood was fresh. Service could've been much better. We had to ask for a dish again and again. I enjoyed the squid the most! Kid friendly place with rabbits and fishes.

Live grouper fish catch & chettiand style preparation is good. Chicken kebab my kid favourite. Chicken machow soup & stuff kulcha is must try. Ambience need to improve getting some smell. Over all good.

One of the best sea food restaurants I've had food, here they have live counters for fish, crab, lobsters. Its price differs depending on their size and variety. We've got a live lobster and we have ask the chef to cook in the flavour which we like. Apart from the we've got pepper squid, which quantity was large and taste good. Then we've got mushroom manchurian, it's a good option for vegetarians. We've also got panner fried rice which was below average and schezwan noodles which was good. Ambiance wise it's pleasant and a perfect one for families and gatherings.

Food was below average. The rate is very costly and the quality of the food is not good. I had chicken biriyani and the taste of the chicken pieces were not good. I have tried Prawn tawa fry was good , rate was 410 but the quantity didn't match the pricing. Pricing could have been better. Even Naan was around 80 Rs. For the ambience we can visit that is the only plus. For biriyani and Prawn fry it cost around 756.Rs I'm not satisfied with the food and Pricing.

Thoondil offers some of the best seafood I've ever had. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ambiance was relaxing, and the service was excellent. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit!

Beautiful atmosphere and ambience. The food was awesome. I went along with my friends for lunch. We ordered nethili fry, pomfret tawa fry, dragon prawns, fish biriyani, brownie with icecream. None of the dishes disappointed though the brownie could be chewy instead of crunchy but the service was fast and the waiter also gave us good recommendations for the order. overall, a good restaurant for fresh sea food.

I feel this place is overrated, the food taste is very average, nothing special about it I would give three stars to the ambience but the seating tables are not comfortable. We ordered squid tawa fry, it wasn't fresh. Biriyani average taste.
