Food is really good here. Have tried their SPL chicken biriyani and their starters Gongura chicken and Guntur chicken. Sometimes it might be too crowded.

Its an average Andhra Pradesh cuisine restaurant in Porur area, located next to Ambur Star Briyani Porur, service and staff behavior are average. I've had their regular mutton briyani, tasty wise it's much better than the other restaurants here, but their Kodi Vepudu is a must try signature dish here. Very very tasty with a authentic Andra touch ! Very clean atmosphere , I highly recommend this place

Biriyani is reasonably priced and offers a good quantity. The taste is decent, but the spiciness overpowers other flavors. Overall, it's a good dining experience. However, the lighting is poor, and the newly added 20-year-old Veldis tag makes it even worse to see the food. The ambiance is okayish.

We have been ordering Velidis SPL Biryani since 4 years, recent times they started cheating by giving very very less pieces of Velidis Spl chicken and fake with Panneer pieces, please see the images and videos. I've raised multiple complaints on Zomato also to the restuarant. But no use, hence I am writing here to help others who shouldn't get cheated. Big time cheaters who mix Panneer with Velidis Spl boneless chicken pieces. I've even called many time directly to the restuarant and said all these, after that they are not picking my calls. Highly not recommended. It's not old Velidis.

Food: Bapatla chicken - Mild fried BL chicken tossed in super spiced red chilli marinate along with crunchy nuts; the flavours were on spot while it was damn spicy Guntur prawns - What makes any seafood taste best is the absence of the foul smell along with buttery texture, THIS WASN'T IT; tiny prawns overloaded with masala and had the strong smell along every bite Chicken joint biryani - Andhra style layered biryani topped with 3 pieces of semi-gravy chicken; to be mixed along with the rice for better fragrance; masalas were good but the chicken was a bit over-cooked which was evident in the way the meat comes out of the bone Butter Naan with Velidis chicken curry - A bit dry naan to go with the mild spiced chicken curry; curry was a bit runny but the meat was cooked better than the other gravies; quite heavy to end up with Ambience/Price: They have got good seating space but they seldom have a parking spot. Since this is on the main road, it will always be a challenge. The ambience was very dull when we dropped by (heavy rains) with the waiting time and service being just OK. On the price part, they are similar to most places; a bit disappointed on the whole when it came to the food.

We ordered Velidis special chicken biryani, Guntur chicken & Gongura chicken. The starters tastes good but, biryani was not good. Anyone who ate in Hyderabad can say it's not same as that. They top the biryani with the chicken gravy which makes it loose it's authenticity. The prices were bit high too.

Must try for biriyani fans. Andhra spice n aroma will need special attention. Very good tream support staff
