Yazhee World Restaurant

I have been visited 2 times in a row in 2024 on my india visit ! One in January and then June . The ambiance and welcoming are amazing and well worth it, i specially recommend for family with kids , they will love the experience, when its come to service, as it located inside a hotel, service is great, when is come to food , food is good and the taste is average, except their breakfast, they have variety of buffet options for the breakfast, fresh made Dosa and omelets you can order in they will make it as you want ! Which is impressed me ! Overall i highly suggest this place for families and who like to have breakfast in a quiet ambiance !

They took some time to serve the dishes.... We have to wait long... Apart from that the quality of the food was really good... Worth for money... Buffet also available... We opted for al la carte .... Southern shrimp was too good..... Best place to have a team dinner and family outing with kids....

Had visited recently with my family including 2 kids, we had a wonderful time there. Especially kids enjoyed well and had nice food.

We opted for a buffet lunch on New Year's Day. We were seated in 10 minutes. Starters were served on the table but I realized they weren't serving all the starters. We had to ask them if there were any others left out to be served. Welcome drink was terrible. There was live music, the singers were taking song requests and we absolutely loved them. Overall, the buffet food was very moderate. I liked the Methi Chamon, Carrot halwa. They had one ice cream flavour. For a 999 buffet, you could definitely have a couple more. When it came to the billing, Mr Doss enthusiastically came to my help when I asked if I could scan and pay. But he asked me to pay it to a phone number instead. It turned out to be his number, he then folded the bill and put it into his pockets. I asked for the bill and he simply nodded. This whole thing makes me think if I actually paid 2048 to Mr S A Mahimai Doss instead of the restaurant. Is this even legal??? I would love some clarification if that's your standard procedure.

We visited as a group of 30+ members and opted for their lunch buffet. They had very limited starter options (3 Non-Veg + 2 Veg). Main course had decent varieties in both veg and non-veg and the food quality and taste were okayish. We received some respite when we tried the Dessert station which had more varieties along with good taste. They salads were good. Their service was lacklustre. However the price tag did not justify the food and service. You can go there if you are out of other options.

Location on the first floor of Chennai Le Palace. The ambience is very nice. Yazhee theme based restaurant. Statues and pictures of different yazhees were placed which is very nice. Kids slide and merry go round available. Have very good food options. Not crowded when we visited. Tasted good. Service could be better.

Yes the name itself tells the meaning. Themed restaurant! with old ancient and sea creatures. Ambience and services are good . The taste of some dishes still needs to be improved a bit. We are 15 members and it came around 15k. Overall everything is good!
