Ammayi Veedu Pot Cook

I recently visited Ammayi Veedu Pot Cook and had an amazing experience! I ordered a variety of dishes, including porotta, country chicken kulambu, chest born kolambu, and idly. The food was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were rich and authentic. The porotta was soft and fluffy, and the idly was perfectly steamed and soft . The country chicken kulambu and chest born kolambu were flavorful and spicy, just the way I like it. The quantity of food was generous, and the prices were little bit expensive. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our needs were met throughout the meal.

Went late by 4pm, no meals were available as I guessed. Option was only Mutton Biryani and Nattu Kozhi Chicken Biryani in main dish. Almost evening, thought to go with Chicken Biryani. Biryani was non flavourful and couldn't find taste which type of seeraga samba Biryani. But chicken pieces were more with Leg piece. Chicken was fresh and tender. Biryani served with Two Gravy and raita. Broiler Biryani is cooked in random days - confirmed by Management. Nattu Kozhi Chicken Biryani - 294 (Not worth the price) Atmosphere -4/5 Service -3.5/5 Parking - 4/5 Biryani - 2.5/5 (need to taste other menu items next time)

We had lunch but little late so the briyani was not warm. We tried pot briyani, kothu kari and chilly chicken. The taste was just normal and I could sense the taste of elachi more. The side dishes were good. The quality could be little more for the price they charge. The ambiance was simple and the staffs were good are service. Overall experience was satisfactory.

The food tastes average and the service is just okay,not particularly impressive. However, the pricing feels too high for the quantity they serve. If you're just looking for a quick snack, this place might be a decent option. Otherwise, it seems a bit overhyped for what it offers.

This restaurant is starting to fail !!! The Food here is good !!!! But U can't choose the dishes here !!!! You are compelled to eat their Biriyani !!!! They were famous for their meals and Non-Veg dishes. Now they are not bothered abt the customers. You go at 2pm the meals is unavailable, this happened to me 3 times. They will leave you with no other options and make you order the Biriyani only. And their Biriyani is not so great!!! It is better they change their unethical strategy. Eventually they will lose their customers in few months.

I love to eat non veg for breakfast I tried 1. Idly - soft 2. Kudal kuzhambu - perfect combo for Idly, dosa and parotta 3. Mutton kothu Kari - ultimate taste soft and juicy 4. Mutton brain fry - my all time fav. Side dish Must try!!!!!!!

Tried dinner here recently, most of tables are occupied, was able to grab a table. All the kulambu (curry items) and starters are served with mut pots, even for serving dishes like idly and parotta they are using tongs which is impressive! Tried their Nattu kozhi soup, which was fresh and spicy Ordered Egg Aapam and Aatukaal paaya, both are deadly combo, aapam goes well with paaya, mutton leg in the paaya is well cooked and soft, definitely paaya and egg aapam is must try here. Tried their mutton kothu kari, which was yummy and goes well with ghee roast! Ambience is good enough to dine in as family! Service is really good, pricing is expensive! Overall if you're okay with the price a good non Vegetarian restaurant to try!

One of my 5-star restaurants in Coimbatore. The food was totally amazing and very native. I had ordered Mutton and Nattukozhi Biriyani, Mutton Kothu Kari and Nattukozhi Varuval. Each of this item was very tasty. Biryanis were of Seeraga Samba and each of them offered completely different taste. Both the side met my expectations of gravies. They were hot, less oily and the ground paste was very well mixed with the meat. The service was prompt and good. Seating and parking are limited. It's a must try non-veg restaurant in Coimbatore
