Very good atmosphere. Food is Tasty, Hygienic & Quality. Located in a busy area near KG Hospital/Cinema. Interior decoration is fantastic. Good Wood carvings are done in the interiors. Great. Table booking is available in advance. Restaurant is in 3rd floor with lift facility. Hospitality is appreciated. Arrangements of Tables are good , who come with family. One should not miss this Restaurant .

I went to Annalakshmi for lunch today and ordered the Annalakshmi Special Pulao. It had rotten pineapple in it. I told the male waiter twice -- he just ignored me. Then I told a female staff member -- she also acted like she didn't hear and kept pretending to be busy. Nobody even bothered to come and check the food or say a single word about it. They clearly didn't care. Very cheap and careless behavior from the staff. Serving spoiled food and then ignoring the customer is just disgusting. This place calls itself fine dining, but the service is worse than a roadside stall. Pathetic attitude.

We went for a lunch date to Annalakshmi and it was a perfect choice without any doubt... They served an authentic South and North Indian meal and our taste buds were very happy.. .. The ambience was very calming and divine, we loved how the food was served in silver utensils and the restaurant played a soothing background music which made our dining experience great.. The service was too good.. Being born and brought up in Coimbatore, we had a regret of not knowing this restaurant for many years.. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic vegetarian food..

Annalakshmi Restaurant is an ethnic, cultural and religiously rooted pure vegetarian restaurant. The ambience is very soothing and neat. The food was of very high quality. Have been to the restaurant for buffet dinner. The ginger lemon welcome drink was awesome. The cucumber groundnut salad, cauliflower chilli, payasam, poori with kurma was fantastic. Other food items were good and could see the quality but not something that we can identify it as something different or unique. The staffs were very polite and courteous. The dinner ended with hot coffee, ice cream and sweet pan. All were good. Definitely a different experience.

Don't order South Indian thali .. taste not up to mark for north indian.. too high price Ambience good

Worst food experience . Over priced with no quality and service. Even water was not served properly. Starting with soup it was like rasam. And the Cucumber pineapple salad was not shreded properly. And in main course. No diffrence in kulcha, naan, and garlic cheese naan. All were the same like maida roti. Dal makhni was so watery . It was not rich nor tasty. Paneer manchurian full of oil oozing out in it. just maintaining the name by serving in silver plates will not do . They havet o enhance food taste and quality for the price of food they charge.

Whilst on our way from Bangalore to Valparai, we took a detour into Coimbatore, after having heard good reviews about Annalakshmi in Chennai. This one, in Coimbatore, is a gem of a place as well! The ambience is eye catching, the food is drool worthy, and very filling as well. The service is excellent, the hosts are very polite and passionate about their hospitality. We had the mini thali, but it didn't seem 'mini' at all, with a variety of dishes. We would love to visit again sometime.

This is a good example of a relaxed fine dining south indian experience. Great food, service and the warmth, care and attention are exceptional. There are 2 types of lunches and we tried both and enjoyed the traditional cuisine. Special mention of Meera Madam who served us with so much of warmth. Kudos to the full team. An experience to remember forever.
