I have heard good reviews and went to neydhal for a birthday dinner with good expectations Most of the dishes we asked from the menu was not available The taste of the food was very bad,that makes me doubt if there is a chef in there or someone who is a newbee is cooking We ordered multiple dishes, butter garlic prawns,prawn ghee roast,parota,appam,prawn mango curry,paal parota,prawn fried rice.. Nothing was good The butter garlic prawns and mandi was a bit ok Service was also ok ..there was one guy who did a good service,other people were like I don't know what they were doing in the hall The food is costly but not worthy Disappointed! And not recommended

When I was looking for good sea food restaurant nearby Lakshmi mills, I got a reference from my bro. I went with a family, ambience is good and they got big fish tank where all the live fish are maintained. Good to see.. We have ordered sea foods and few chicken items where we are happy with Sea food taste and quality. However, we are unhappy with chicken items like chick 65 and some gravy items. We have highlighted the issue with management to rectify and they agreed on it. Besides, we are ok with taste and quality on the whole. Eat healthy food and live happily. Thanks, Sabarinathan.C

Food too much spicy. Masala did not blend properly. All the names are good but it's doesn't resemble the food.

Honestly a bit disappointed after all the hype. Tried their popular dishes - mutton vadasatti soru and prawn ghee roast. The prawn was mostly just spicy without much flavor, and the mutton dish was pretty bland.

I visited Neydhal with my extended family hoping for a great experience. * First thing, there's lack of transparency in pricing. The rate displayed is something and the rate charged citing that it's live fish is different. They charged 6000 for a 2kg Kodavu fish while it was listed as 2350 per kg. * The two starters that they suggested tasted the same. It was neither spicy nor sweet. * The salad was not fresh, it was served cold from the refrigerator. * Next, the ambience is utterly poor. You feel suffocating as the AC is an ineffective old unit and there's no ventilation as well. The cleanliness is poor, not well maintained and there are flies as well. * So after paying 1000+ per plate, you are in for a huge disappointment.

The restaurant ambience is great, I'm a vegetarian and they have good veg options too.. Their Paneer kanthari is just mind blowing. The owner is a Philanthropist. He isn't business minded rather he really soulfully runs his restaurant. He takes great care of the customers, personally asking for reviews, seeking to improve every step! My friends who are non vegetarians loved the food and kept complementing the dishes and taste. Recently the restaurant owner gave free food for festival for the underprivileged and also special children. Hats off to the team's good nature.. They served with a smile and a special appreciation for their quick response. This place is a must try!!

Good destination for sea food lovers. The Ambience inside the restaurant is exquisite and really customized to suit hotel theme. Food taste is mediocre and quite costly as well. But the meals is really good, Very friendly Staff's. Must try! Fish roast is my favorite here :) After my third visit : they also have live fish option, they have variety of fishes in full size, you can choose anyone and they will prepare that fish for you. But it is quite cosy, 2 rs per gram. After renovation: Still everything remains the same with better ambience and view!

Visited around 2:00 PM. The food was quite average, and only one side of the AC was working. Even with all the fans running, the cooling was completely inadequate. When we raised the issue with the person in charge, the response was simply, "Yes sir, it's not cool enough!"--as if that were acceptable. Yet, they still charged us as if we were dining in a fully air-conditioned restaurant. Don't fooled by the hype!!
