Shree Anandhaas | Lakshmi Mills Junction

Went here on our first day in Coimbatore after a long drive from Bangalore. At 2pm the place was overcrowded, we waited for 15 mts in the ground floor non a/c section and later got to know about first floor with a/c. First floor was not crowded. Coming to food, we ordered Dragon Paneer, Mushroom Manchurian, Veg meals, Veg Biriyani and Sambar Rice. All the items were exceptional. Food was served within 10 mts. For Lunch,their service was also top notch. We came back the next day for Breakfast and ordered Idli vada, butter masala idli, Onion Uttappam, Tomato karabath. All the items were good, their coffee was very strong and not a preferred option for me. Their breakfast service was very slow, I had to remind them twice to get my order. Due to exceptional taste and price, we came back again for dinner as well and tried Parota curry, Dosa vadakari, Fried rice, chapati curry. All the items were exceptional good. Parking is available few meters away from the hotel. This restaurant is walkable distance from IBIS Hotel and LuLu hypermarket. This restaurant definitely deserves to be on top of the Veg Hotel lists in Coimbatore.

This was my first visit to Shree Anandhaas, and the experience was a bit mixed. The food was quite good -- I especially enjoyed the Idiyappam with coconut milk and the delicious onion oothappam. However, the table service need some improvement. Do give it a try and let me know your remarks.

Recently visited Shree Anandas to purchase sweets and had a truly delightful experience. The shop offers an extensive variety of sweets and snacks, catering to all taste preferences--from traditional Indian mithais to crispy savories. Every item we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with excellent quality. The richness and authenticity of their sweets stood out. In addition to takeaways, they also have dining options with full meals available, which adds great value for families or groups wanting to sit and enjoy. The presence of a separate, dedicated parking space made the visit extremely convenient, especially in a busy area. Overall, Shree Anandas is a must-visit spot for sweet lovers and those looking for a hygienic, well-managed place with tasty vegetarian meals.

I have visited this place many times and it is one of the highly recommended places. It is always a crowded place but the food is delicious. I tried meal and Idli and dosa, which was really good. We also tried mushroom pepper fry which was different but really good. location wise it is really good and walkable distance from hotel Ibis. They also have good options of south Indian snacks to take home. Thus i highly recommended this place for South Indian food.

We had the South Indian meals. Also ordered Paneer varuval for starter. It was very nicely prepared with the right amount and combination of spices. And to say about the meals, it was an authentic South Indian meals. They had ghee and paripp podi and gave vadaam as well upon request. The vethakuzhambu was the most delicious item. The soya masala for the chapatti was another mention worthy item. Now we went during peak lunch hour. They found us a seat very soon. The service is top notch especially by the waiter who served us.

Great food, very affordable. I ordered the South Indian lunch special. Great service/friendly staff. Good bakery inside also.
