Customer Reviews & Testimonials
The Ponram Multi cuisine offers a decent dining experience. The biryani has good flavor, though not exceptional. Prices are on the higher side, but the portion sizes are reasonable. Hygiene standards are maintained well. Overall, a satisfactory place for biryani lovers.
Ordered chicken briyani and was fortunate to get 2 mutton pieces in it .Not at all hot at 1:30pm.Mutton briyani and the dalcha were very average ( never compare with the other top spot). 10% of onion was rotten in the raitha. Kudal fry and mutton chops were good. Cost is very high .Disappointed.
We ordered cream of chicken soup (1/2), one Chicken biriyani and Chicken 65. This is normally enough for us (two people) but we had to order another Biriyani and 65. Chicken biriyani is basically biriyani rice from Mutton biriyani with a piece of chicken added to it. We felt it was too costly considering there was only 1 piece of chicken, no eggs and the quantity of rice was too less. As someone who cannot finish a full Biriyani from most of the restaurants I was able to finish this one easily that too I had a soup before that and my breakfast was a good 5 hours earlier. However the biriyani rice taste was very good. They didn't tell us that it is the Mutton Biriyani rice but we overheard it being mentioned in another table and we found tiny mutton pieces when we got the biriyani. Not an issue for us but that needs to be mentioned when someone orders. Biriyani comes with mutton curry, saalan and salad. Mutton curry and salad was okay. I didn't try saalan. Chicken 65 was tasty but cream of chicken soup was a let down. Ambience is average, restrooms are just okay. Parking is a bit of an issue as there is no dedicated parking. 2-3 cars can be parked in the front.
Hello people of india: First time I went to Ponram restaurant by seeing their interior set up.. but totally waste after had food at there.. 1.) No Menu card given . 2.) waiter no response after I ordered food . 3.) waited for 20 mins for one Mutton flavoured Curry dosa. 4.) Mutton curry dosa ,looks very small like normal Dosa . Instead of mutton they spread Some smashed chicken liver... Fraudulent Be aware.. 5.) over over over priced...... Very small Qty.......... Completely Low quality+ Fraud + Over priced . Don't try this Restaurant........ Ponram Fraudulent hotel........
Had mutton briyani with Prawn chukka ..Both dishes are awesome ..Manikandan who served me is polite and attentive ..overall a nice experience
The food is awesome and good. The price is decent, and their house-made dessert is also nice.
We didn't go to the main one near highways but the one in the town. Restroom cleanliness can be improved. We ordered mutton biryani, plain biriyani, chicken pepper fry, mutton kola, chicken 65 and veg noodles. We felt biryani quantity was too less. Chicken pepper fry was outstanding. We also ordered strawberry tres leches cake for dessert. Biriyani was tasty and flavourful.
The service was great, the food was served in a quick and timely manner. The chicken was juicy and not dry. The biriyani hits hard every time, and was easily the star of the show. Thanks for providing a consistent experience every time.
