Customer Reviews & Testimonials
The place seems new and we went to have lunch. Ordered 2 types of nattukozhi dishes and the quantity for 250+ each is much less, taste was ok but full of bones only. Non veg meals served with only mutton / chicken / karuvattu kozhambu again taste was very average. No veggies in the meals. Only as much rice they serve and calling it a meal. There is lot to improve when you call it a meal and charge people. Not just rice and some gravies. Not worth the money for the people who come here to eat well. Payasam also charged extra. A tiny water bottle is free.
Lack of quality Boneless Starters were not available at the time of 9pm Also the Starters(with bone) we ordered wasn't even tasted okay Chicken65 was too oily and tasteless Chicken Monica(280-seems costly) & Nattukozhi was also tasteless and not worth trying Tried their Texvalley opposite shop for lunch once and food and ambiance there was good. The ambiance here is good It will be good if they prepare menu card and make sure everything is available and tastes good.
No menu card, Limited dishes. Food quality and taste are below average. Over priced. People expect some decent kongu style food will defenitely get disappointed. I don't think this business will survive for long if they don't do some serious work in the kitchen. I won't recommend or visit this restaurant again.
I recently visited this restaurant and the overall experience was below average or worst I would say. I ordered items worth around 1050. Among them, the garlic naan stood out, though a bit on the pricey side. Tried the Japan Chicken - it was okay, nothing special to mention. However, the Chettinad Chicken was quite disappointing. For the price, I expected something better. There were barely 3 to 4 pieces, and even those were hidden under a thick layer of tomatoes and onions. Definitely not worth the cost. Other items we tried were just average. The ambience was decent, but when I consider the taste and quantity compared to the price, it feels a bit overpriced. I don't recommend this place.
These days, Manthotahhu Virundhu seems to have become more focused on profit than quality. The taste was disappointing. I took my foreign client there to experience authentic Tamil Nadu chicken dishes, but the food failed to impress. Kindly improve the quality and ensure the dishes reflect the true essence of Tamil Nadu cuisine.
The owner has a very bad attitude of asking money to all customers like u talk to him for five mins the sixth minute he ask money for debt... worst man with worst attitude... dont ever get into this restaurant..
We 10 members had lunch at this hotel, the taste was very poor, we ordered nonveg meals, the mutton and chicken kolambu was very poor in taste and paloipalayam chicken and kodal (boti) was sticky oily, seams old meat, not worth for money. The fried rice was good but the overall quality is very bad. Such a big hotel providing poor quality meals with high cost can't be acceptable.
Nice atmosphere and tasty food! I ordered mushroom and veg fried rice. They treated very kind. Good job and keep it up!
