Hotel Chitra Pure Vegetarian Restaurant

This hotel is nice! The food is pretty good, though I found the prices a bit on the high side. I love that the tables are made of stone; it adds a lovely traditional touch . The servers are super friendly , and the food comes out quickly--usually within about 5 to 6 minutes after you order!

It is a pure vegetarian restaurant. The dining hall is very spacious, resembling a mandapam. The servers and the service are both excellent. The restaurant follows a token system. The crowd is usually normal on most days. If you are dining in, the meals are highly recommended. The sweet is limited, but everything else is served in unlimited portions. Parcel service is also available for an extra charge. Parking facilities are provided.

Situated near the Kanyakumari Temple, the restaurant offers a spacious dining area with a unique seating arrangement. While the food is average, the service is pleasant, and the parking facilities are convenient. Overall, it provides a satisfying experience.

Only fresh vegetarian hotel in entire Kanyakumari. Rest all may sell old food, but this hotel- never.

Excellent veg food with superb service at very reasonable price. The staffs are always ready to fill your plate. Tea & coffee available from 6am onwards, breakfast timings 7-11 am. Meals available only for lunch. People from outside Vivekananda visit here to have food.

This is the only good veg restaurant you can find in kanyakumari but I will say price is on too higher side like dosa 70, poori 80, chappathi 65, paper roast 120. Yeah it's too too pricey but the atmosphere is too great. It's worth trying for one time

When compared to the other hotels at Kanyakumari, this hotel is good. We had both night dinner and lunch. Lunch, sambar rice, and curd rice were good. Lassi is also good in taste. We had dosa, parota in the night. The side dish tasted not good. The hotel contractor should improve the taste. The price of each item is costly when compared to the amenities of the hotel. Because, the restaurant is looking like a marriage catering hall. No infrastructure. Then they have to reduce the price considerably, because the hotel is running under vivekanandha kendra.
