This was the worst dining experience ever! The hotel, known for its traditional fish dishes , completely failed in taste and quality. Neither veg nor non-veg items were edible , and the food was absolutely bland. To be honest the ambience was good enough. The pricing is outrageous for such terrible quality. To make it worse, a rude lady server made the experience even more unpleasant. Avoid this place at all costs--it's not worth a single penny!

Run by the sweetest ladies I've met. All of them smiling and very helpful. Food was a smash hit .... Everything we called for ( it's a seafood place) was five stars !! A definitely must visit for people who like South Indian seafood ...

Authentic tamilian sea foods, high quality and tasty fish, crab, prawns at a very reasonable price. The crab taste was excellent . Definitely try this out if you are visiting pichavaram mangroves. Don't judge a book by its cover as the place doesn't look very attractive from the outside.

One of the best Sea food (Fish items specially) shops I had a food in Tamilnadu Though the options of fish are limited when we went ( around January second week), they served with care and hospitality. Their welcoming and caring hospitality makes us feel the best about this shop. The quality of food is also very good here. The price is also reasonable. Overall best for all categories of people who loves seafood. They do have limited options for Vegetarians. Must try food here if you are coming to Pichavaram/Killai.

Some places are legends in itself like this one. Went here accidentally looking at vehicles parked in front of this home cum lunch spot. Simple sitting. Welcoming owner. Family run kitchen n they serve fish n veg meal with variety of different fish options. Place is clean and will pamper your taste buds. For me language was a barrier but owner can speak good English and did helpe with everything. I tried simple fish meal which has tangy curry with raw mango. Loved it. Prawns masal was tasty. I loved the fish fry the most and can have unlimited serving of the same. They also offered me veg items which were outstanding...owner showed his kitchen where their whole family help to run this place. It's easy on pocket and would highly recommend. It is one place that I can go back numerous times.
