Aasife Biriyani - Kodaikanal

I had mutton biryani (350) and chicken biryani (250). Both biriyani were chennai style as expected and had a good flavor. The pieces were soft and tender. There were two mutton pieces and chicken biryani also had two pieces with one being a leg piece. Both biryani's had an egg. The quantity is quite little though for both the biryani. The price for mutton also felt to be too high for this price and quantity and taste. A decent overall experience.

The food wasn't bad, but it was definitely tasty. However, the experience was marred by the slow service. We had to wait a long time for our starters to arrive, and even when we ordered naan, the gravy for it came much later. By the time we got the gravy, the naan had already lost its heat. It really took away from the overall experience. While the food itself was enjoyable, the timing and service need some improvement. On a positive note, the atmosphere was neat and clean, which made the dining experience more comfortable.

We visited aasife biryani today and the place is very good. Only thing is the hotel location will be down to the main road but trust me it is worth visiting this place. Food was very tasty and service is very good. The location of the resturant is also very good. Right infront of the hotel we witneesed small stream of water flow when we visited. We ordered one mughul chicken 65 biryani and chicken lollipop manchurian. I liked both dishes. We ordered mutton biryani and dragon chicken in our second time visit. Personally i liked chicken biryani more than mutton biryani Pros: good location, good view from hotel, tasty food, excellent service Cons: only con i felt is the gravy served with biryani is cold.

Great and fresh food i had ever in kodaikanal.... Really delicious and calm atmosphere..... Food can be feeded to kids also

If you have a fondness for Biriyani, avoid this place. They only serve fried tomato rice with mutton and chicken pieces. Despite the excellent parking, the food taste is very below average. when we saw that aasife biriyani at Kodaikanal we are so much happy (poorroom oru kttttu ktttturroomnnnu) to go there and ordered mutton and chicken biriyani but we will get very below average tomato fried rice only

Food is average and the service is pathetic. Takes a lot of time to get the pre cooked cold food even no customers are there. Very poor service.

Asife Biriyani in Kodaikanal was a disappointing experience. We reached the restaurant by around 9:30 PM, expecting to grab our dinner, but the staff's attitude was unfriendly and unaccommodating. the staff's reluctance and unfriendly demeanor made us decide to leave without even trying their famous biryani. Unfortunate, as we'd heard great things about this spot. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but for us, it was a deal-breaker.
