Punjabi Dhaba Restaurant

We stopped by this dhaaba for a light dinner before catching our night bus--and it turned out to be a hidden gem! We ordered chicken gravy, biryani, dal, and roti. Every dish was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and that authentic North Indian aroma. The spices were perfectly balanced, just like a true Punjabi meal. The best part? The bill was way more affordable than expected! If you're in Kodaikanal and craving North Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Note: If you need to freshen up, use the bus stop's washroom nearby, as there's none available at the dhaaba.

They are functioning for many years. Reasonable prices. Tasty and hygienic food. Good and prompt service. Very tasty hot and crispy rotis they serve. All those side dish tasty and mouthwatering. Clean place in a hill station. One has to climb stairs as it is on the first floor.

Food here is an absolute winner, absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located on the first floor. There is a wait time but food is prepared as you order and served hot. Service was really good, enthusiastic waiter. Naan here was really amazing. Egg masala was a really great surprise it was really really good and so versatile. Food is spicer than usual. Would visit again when I visit Kodai next.

Food was so bad we orderd paneer tikka masala ,butter phulka and boondi raita . They burnt panner tikka masla and instead of phulka they give butter roti and boondi raita was the worst part , they served boondi which was too old or expired . Wasted my money here recommend not to go .

Pathetic. The food is very bad. Prices are decent, but the food is tasteless, and nothing like what you'd expect of a Dhaba. Chicken platter is 95% veggies sauce onion and 5%chicken. The biryani isn't biryani, it's tomato rice and it's BAD. Only good thing, we didn't get food poisoning.

Authentic Punjabi style food! Only thing, this place is not properly maintained. Must try is their aloo parotta.

Below average chicken recipe. We ordered full tandoori chicken cost rs600 which was fully over burnt.

Worst restaurant. The owners are too arrogant and they don't have enough staff to handle even 15 people at a time in the restaurant.
