House of terrarium, Restaurant

Stopped for dinner. We were the only clients but service was slow and food was nothing to write home about. Some items weren't available - including tea and coffee or juices. Staff weren't unfriendly but need better training to deal with customers. Would not go back again.

This restaurant is inside the Lakshmi holiday inn. Firstly was surprised that they don't start lunch before 1.30pm even in the peak holiday season!! Anyways they did take the order when waiting and the service was quick... The food was decent nothing to complain about. The intererios is nice especially the use of natural plants is amazing and lovely paintings of local sightseeing spots

Terrible service, takes hours for them to make food for a big group and they will get the order wrong and make starters after main course when they realise their mistake. Indian dishes are unnecessarily sweet. Paneer is used very sparingly and they don't cook with decent quality ingredients. Prices are ridiculously high for this kind of low quality food. The ambience is the only saving grace.

DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT. Very very bad experience. Quantity and quality of food is not at all good for the price. They charged more than was written in the menu card and claimed it to be revised price (water bottle which actually costs 15 was 25 in the menu card but they charged 40 in the bill). They took a very long time to bring the food. Staff and service was extremely poor. At one point they said there was no more food. However when we called before going they said we can come anytime. Neither is there anything great about the ambience, it's very average. Not at all worth the money.

We had one of the best Indian food and dining experience at this restaurant. We arrived at an odd hour between lunch and dinner but the restaurant staff and chef were kind enough to prepare and serve us with some of the delicious foods (biriyani, chappathi and curries etc), fairly quickly! The ambience is great and the view overlooking the tea plantations is spectacular!! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very nice food and service is good....

Food is very bad, they didn't all the items. It took 40mts for them to prepare just fulka and gravy. Staff are very unprofessional. Bad food for money. But the ambience is good.
