We recently stayed in Raavan Residency in our trip towards Kaalahasti. We were four adults and two kids, stayed in two rooms. Rooms are spacious but the hotel is not 3* as some of the websites claim. Parking is open, I was scared as we need to park on the open space, but close to the hotel. But hotel employees were confident about its safety and that eased us. Now what I missed was the toiletries. It had nothing except a towel which we had to ask extra. Rooms are clean and good space. Morning, we had breakfast from the same place and it was too good. While checking out, the person in the reception asked us to book directly as I could save a lot of money. So far, not bad! Twist happened when we were returning from Kalahasti and the hotel we booked in Madurai cheated us due to the booking we made through Agoda. Remembering the assurance from Raavan we called them and they offered a price which was less but much expensive than what they offered while checking out. We didn't had an option than to check in. We were offered the same rooms and he gave us an extra bed for the price, though I told him that the price offered was way less. Still no complaints. And this time they gave us two dental kits unlike last time. Waking up, we had food from the same restaurant. But there were almost no choices but still food was good. It was an auspicious day for us and we gave each other some money and my son left his money in the hotel but my sister left her specs which was brand new. They called us after we travelled for 2 hours. We requested if he can courier it, he can take the money we left there (Rs 100) and we will gpay his courier charges. He agreed and then on we followed up with him every day. He kept promising that he will send it.
