Kalappa Family Restaurant A/C

CAUTION * PLS TAKE THIS ONE STAR REVIEW SERIOUS So starting at the atmosphere; the air con wasn't working at all.. like the just kept it on but the we couldn't feel any the chillness. the sinks were dirty AS HELL , and it was smelly too. Also the table weren't clean at all , we called them for cleaning but they took like 17 mins to come and clean the table. Hospitality was very poor. And the food tasted very avg but it was priced crazy. Water was not free too.. idk why they they're restaurant "kalappa family restaurant (A/C)!" As conclusion: do not take this unserious. This is not fake, this is real. The reality we faced.

We order 4 egg briyani and one full grill chicken Egg briyani taste is good they have their own taste in it Grill chicken very jussy we like it lot, for this they serve onion that onion taste is ultimate Wash room very poor only it spoil their ambiance We went there at 2.30 pm but they only have chicken briyani, grill chicken and side dish item only, we missed the menu here ( what they told that even only they provide all kind of dish ) So consider this hotel for dinner only for breakfast and lunch they only have limited menu only Price is little high

Very good place. Especially in such small City. Positives: Clean and hygiene Not expensive Most important great taste. We had ordered tomoto soup, ghee rice, chicken biryani, veg pulav, panner 65. Bill was 580. Tomato soup was just great. Chicken biryani was spicy and very tasty. Something really different from regular biryani. For traveller's is good stop for lunch. For lunch u get only rice item. For dinner you get roti,pulka, parota etc. There are not many places. So it's better u go here.

Seems like it requires renovation & improvement, infrastructure is so bad , handwashing area is not neat, They have swapped the order to other table and literally took half of the portion from the other person plate and mixed the chicken pieces to my plate and served which I didn't appreciate. Food taste is good I can't say anything bad about the taste ... But customer communication and service is awfully not good ...if this continues soon the restaurant will be closed

Food was average. Briyani was okay but too costly. Ambience was good but not maintained in a hygienic way. There were too many flies while we were eating. Please Don't trust the online menu display as it's the old one. Ask for menu if you ever visit. Enquire the rate to the waiters and then order food. We went there as it was the only restaurant nearby . But it was very disappointing. Can try if you don't have any other option to have lunch or dinner when in mannargudi. There are many decent restaurants.

Free space car parking & peaceful place.. We can enjoy our food with each and every bite...
