This place is best suited for dining, not staying. After the transformative era of Manmohan Singh's economic reforms, the hospitality industry has elevated its standards, offering more refined taste, cleanliness, and service. By comparison, this establishment falls short. While it may have been considered impressive back in the 1980's, its charm doesn't quite hold up today.

Need to improve displayable delivery section but now open delivery section and use uniform code role number of delivery

It is one of the most venerable hotels in Mayiladuthurai. The restaurant's ambiance still retains its old-fashioned interiors. They continue to adhere to the time-honored traditions in both their culinary offerings and decor. The food is highly authentic, of excellent quality, and delectable in taste. Rava dosa, pongal, full meals, idiappam with coconut milk, and filter coffee are all exceptionally delicious. The pricing is quite reasonable, the service is prompt, and it is situated in a prime location.

Went here after seeing the review. Happy with the visit. Ordered Veg Biryani priced @ 50/-. Taste, Quality and Quantity everything was OK. Drinking Water provided was OK. Worth a try. On normal days depending on crowd they close at 9.30 P.M and not till 11.00 P.M as displayed in google. Most of the hotels here do the same.

Excellent taste, very authentic food. Must taste. But the ambience can be improved as per current requirements. It's very old. Though the aesthetics are good since it's old lots of stains, marks and dust are there. At least good refurbishment with painting is required.

Very old hotel tiffin and coffee reasonably good. The place is not clean servers are not tidy service ok. Need improvement to the cleanliness and kitchen needs huge improvement. Reasonably priced. Excellent location no parking on this very busy road for cars. Two wheelers can be parked on the road but during rush hours and holidays it will be a problem

The best rava dosa and sambar I had....

Wondering about the so many favourable reviews about this food place. It is a very average vegetarian lunch affair. Don't even bother to visit this place for lunch. You would be better visiting some other place. At 85rs per meal (May 2022), it is not value for money. Lunch is so good across Tamil Nadu, but I was disappointed visiting this place after so many positive reviews. Getting a parking here on this road is next to impossible. It is opposite GRT jewellers, please look for it to locate it. Typical banana leaf meal with good serving of rice. That is it.
