RAAJAVIRUNDHU FAMILY RESTAURANT NON-VEG A/C

On my way back to Bengaluru from Salem, I stopped at this restaurant for a quick meal. Opted for the AC seating, which came with an extra charge of 10 per item. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and a Non-Veg Meal. The Grilled Chicken had good flavor but could have been cooked a bit longer. The Non-Veg Meal was decent--nothing remarkable but satisfactory. Overall, the menu is budget-friendly, the taste is decent, and the service was good. A reasonable stop for a quick bite.

We visited this place for lunch on our Road Trip from Rameswaram to Bangalore . We had Fried rice and Egg curry and had orange Ginger juice. All was awesome. We sat at A/C area for that they charged Rs.10 extra per item as AC charges. This charge is not acceptable since the cooling was not good only those who sit below the AC only get the cooling effect. I told them to switch on the fan. This extra charge should not be charged. Ample parking space available.

It was around 2 pm and I want to take a break for lunch and went here to have a good feast. Menu had plenty of options I have started with Mutton Chettinad soup( rs 160) which was spicy and good amount of mutton boneless pieces. Then I have ordered Thalavaazhalai Virunthu ( rs 510) which is the famous menu option in this place which has portion of mutton biryani and small amount of Mutton sukka, Mutton Head curry, Boti Fry, Chicken Chintamani, Country Chicken Fry, Fish fry, Sweet, Chicken gravy, Mutton gravy, Fish gravy along with white rice. Good part is the item can be shared. Starters were good and fish fry( Paarai fish) is average and could have been better. All gravies is less tastier than the starters. Overall I had a good dining experience in this restaurant

Now this is what we call an "A class" Grade restaurant We visited here on 29th Dec 2024 for Lunch at around 4pm IST on our return to Bangalore from KodaiKanal.. This is our second visit in this restaurant and i must say this is a very spacious, big, and organized restaurant.. They have soooo, sooo much tasty food, served hygienically with lot of food varieties.. They have both veg and non-veg food items Quality of ghee and butter which they use is just "Outstanding" so much tasty food There is always the crowd here, so you have to search for your place own. They have indoor and outdoor seating facility available as well Large amount of dedicated parking space for all the two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles I would HIGHLY and HIGHLY Recommend this restaurant for the lunch and dinner If you ever get a chance, please and please do visit here Thank me later!

Great option for your lunch/dinner while you are travelling through Salem highway. I visited here during my journey from Bangalore to Trivandrum. We had "Vazha ilai Virunthu", fruit salads and ice creams. The restaurant is large and serve tasty dishes. They provide a large parking space as well. Toilets were neat and clean. Highly recommended

The food was very good. We opted to AC dining where all the dishes are 10 more than other seating area. The combos really worth to try & value for money They good parking space & the securities are guiding well during parking and while taking out the vehicle The service was really good. There is kids playing zone, we have to pay for the same to use. Restroom are large & not bad, they have to pay little more attention to that

We had a good lunch here! The panner butter masala,egg masala, and the ghee fulka were delicious and cheap. Better than restaurants. Recommend you to come here. The restaurant looks bad on the outside but don't judge a restaurant by its building. There is also a cage with many birds in it.

One of the best restaurants on the Salem - Bangalore highway . The food served here was really good there is a huge parking space and they have multiple ambience and styles where you can sit and savour the food with family and friends. A/c hall is also available and dabba style sit out is also available. Kids play area is available and you can spend some time with kids. Definitely you will not regret the visit. Happy Eating
