Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Prakash

Had a great lunch at Anjappar restaurant! The non-veg meals came with a variety of flavorful dishes - each one delicious and definitely worth the price. The biriyani was aromatic and perfectly cooked, full of rich spices and tender meat. The service was quick, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. A must-visit spot for non-veg food lovers!

Had ordered Biriyani and dosa for dinner. The Biriyani tasted average but the quantity was sufficient for 2 average eaters and the dosa was good with the accompaniments. The fruit kesari provided with Biryani was good. For the price, I expected biryani to be good but bit disappointed. I have tried Annanagar branch and another branch some time back but the Biriyani was better.

I bought chicken gravy today, it is one of the worst dish I have eaten. It is very spicy and taste is very bad. Kindly don't waste your money by going to anjappar hotel red hills chennai.

Once upon a time Anjappar given the best foods in chennai especially Nungambakkam is my favourite outlet. But now taste was changed so much to worst, portion also reduced. Ordered Prawn biriyani, chicken noodles, vanjaram fry. Briyani was too spicy, I felt curry flavour only not even biriyani smell and fry fish is smells raw and didn't gel with masala & didn't toast properly. When service Water glass inside something object dropped, while eating fly's around running..... Really disappointed from high-end restaurant.

Visited this restaurant during my visit to my Chennai depot. We stopped here for lunch. As per the suggestion I ordered friend chicken biriyani, paneer manchuri and veg fried rice. All three dishes were really good. The quality of chicken biriyani was too much. So I had to parcel it. So make sure if you are alone this biriyani is too much in quantity.

Disappointing Dining Experience *Rating*: 1/5 stars I recently had the misfortune of dining at hotel Anjappar and was thoroughly unimpressed with the food quality. Here's a brief overview of my experience: - *Food Quality*: The dishes I ordered were overcooked, underseasoned, and lacked presentation. The ingredients seemed stale, and the portion sizes were small. - *Service*: The service was slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in attending to our needs. *Specific Issues*: - we ordered chicken biriyani and fish curry meals totally waste of money - biriyani taste like tomato rice - Staffs are unprofessional I would not recommend dining here. There are better options available in Redhills

Worst experience EVER!!!! I have eaten in other branches of Anjappar but I had terrible experience here! We waited for 15 minutes for the waiter to turn up and we ordered naan and butter chicken masala but when we Received the food, we were so shocked to see the gravy, there was only 3small slices or shredded pieces chicken pieces which it costed around 270 rupees. Complete waste of money. Will never recommend this place. This is the second instance in anjappar redhills branch.. We went to have dinner for my Friends Birthday, we ordered a Biryani, Fried rice, Tandoori, Mutton Payaa and Full Grill. Everything is ok except the grill, it smells very bad can't tolerate it's smell. Already I had a bad experience in butter chicken and now in Grill. When we complaint about grill they're arguing that it's a smoke smell. After we gave a piece to eat and smell, waiter accepts the grill smells bad.. Totally Disappointed. This is not fair.. No Quality is maintained.. Simply Waste.

"I ordered the chicken biryani at Anjappar Redhills and it was, without a doubt, the most disappointing biryani experience I've ever had. The rice was dry and clumpy, lacking any of the fragrant, aromatic qualities I expect from a good biryani. The chicken pieces were sparse, and those I did find were tough and overcooked. The spice blend was utterly lackluster; it tasted like they forgot to add any. There was no depth of flavor, no rich, slow-cooked essence. And to add insult to injury, the price was ridiculously high for such a subpar dish. I felt completely ripped off. I would not recommend this biryani to anyone."
