A very old Hotel in Palani is famous for four types of Chatney. Roast and Uthappam are famous. Very reasonable price. Take a parcel a Roast and taste the ketty coconut chatney.
One can get Homely Tasty food in Palani town..at very low cost.. A single Family can finish Breakfast less than 300 rupees.. only disadvantage is it located some 100mts away from main road.. we can't drive a car there, Parking not available. We need to go by walk. Two wheeler can go..
People who come to Palani should eat roast (dosa) here for dinner. But the food is worth it from 1978. The best I ever had. No ambience. Accessible thru a short walk. But worth it.
