Velan Temple View

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very disappointing experience. First and foremost, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The room was not properly cleaned, pillow covers were not changed after someone checked out, dead head lice with blood noticed on the pillow, which was disgusting to see. The bathroom was dirty, and not filled with toiletries for 4 people. It's clear they don't prioritize basic hygiene. To make matters worse, the hotel enforces a ridiculous 12-12 policy for check-in and check-out. This felt incredibly inconvenient, especially given the quality of the service and accommodations. With the high rates they charge, I expected more flexibility and a better overall experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and won't be returning. This is our bad experience with this hotel and not met our expectations.

"Very bad experience " I had a very bad experience in this hotel. 1. No towels kept. They give only when asked. 2. Bathroom mug doesn't have holder 3. Extra bed is very terrible 4. Hot water not came at first. Once we asked then only they provide one more unlock key to switch on the geyser. 5. Water leak in flush tank 6. Finally, no cooling in AC machine.. 7. Bathroom ventilation window is in corridor..

I stayed at The Velan Temple View hotel for a day with my family to visit the Palani Subramanya swami temple. Honestly, the rooms were good, location of the hotel was very convenient to walk to the temple and special mention to the homely food available there. The overall experience was great and the stay was nice and the place was very warm and welcoming. Will recommend to friends and family.

Disappointing Stay - Poor AC Maintenance and No Timely Resolution I had a very uncomfortable experience during my stay at Velan Temple View in Palani. The air conditioner kept shutting off repeatedly throughout the night until around 1 AM, making it extremely difficult to get a proper night's sleep. Despite raising the issue, a proper fix was not provided during my stay. I had to escalate the matter through Goibibo to even get basic support, which was quite frustrating. For the price paid, the service and maintenance were far below expectations. Definitely not a stay I would recommend unless the management takes steps to improve basic amenities and customer service.

I would say Velan Temple View is a good place to stay in Pazhani but it is not the very best. It is hygienic and clean. Although, a few staffs behavior was very rude. We reached there by 6pm still they told us to vacate by 12pm as it is the fixed check out and check in time which was not mentioned in the Goibibo site I booked online. The hot water was not working. They only got the issue solved after complaining many times. We lost almost 1 hr because of which our temple darshan got delayed in the morning. When we reached back it was 1 pm so they rudely asked us to vacate. We had already asked them to extend our check out time as we lost so much of time because of mishap from the hotels side. They don't have room service in the night either. Overall, it was a different experience because it was totally opposite of what I had expected from reading all these reviews of this hotel.

The rooms were good, but the geysers were not working and we had to call and ask them to deliver the hot water. They delivered hot water in a bucket. Also, rooms are expensive compared to the service they provide. Also, there is no temple view for all the rooms, if you are looking for any such, ask prior.

The room was very comfortable and neat. The location was close to the temple. We had a lovely temple view room, which we enjoyed. The premises are neat and tiddy. We request the front desk to attend to the phone queries. Otherwise overall it was a pleasant experience.

Kindly don't get mesmerised by the google pic... no proper toiletries...toilet are not hygiene shower will not work no hot water in shower ... no power back up ... this is not hotel it's hotel policy switch of the lift and a/c power in morning time wn the people r less in hotel .. cult r foil smell ... only thing is the winch view from ur bed ...
