Customer Reviews & Testimonials

We had a disappointing experience at Saisangeet Vegetarian Restaurant while heading to Salim. We stopped by after seeing the sign on the left side, but the actual restaurant is located on the right side, which was already confusing. After reaching the place, we waited for over 30 minutes just for some tiffin, but no food was served. It turned out to be more like a shopping mall than a proper restaurant - they were selling various items, and it didn't feel like a place meant for dining at all. My brother had heard it was a "super hotel", but it seemed more like a marketing strategy to attract travelers than an actual food experience. Overall, a waste of time and a misleading stop. Not recommended if you're looking for a quick and satisfying meal.

This restaurant is located on the left side of the highway while travelling towards Bengaluru from Tamil Nadu. Pros 1. Good food quality 2. Excellent service 3. Variety of options to choose from 4. Ample car parking available 5. Life facility available as the dining is in first floor Cons. 1. The bathroom is in a common spot which is not well maintained and untidy.

Food quality was good, coffee was good. For snacks, it is suggested to have it in snack area which is separate building. There is a antique store on ground floor of this restaurant. This restaurant is associated with a good pertol bunk and a restroom. Ample parking space is available. The attitude of people who are waiters in restaurant to be polished. Other wise this is a nice place to have a break between long distance travel

Worst place for North Indian & Chinese food! Had to wait 30 mins to finally get a table but food was below than average. Avoid stopping here for Dine In, ratings are misleading. Dishes ordered: Paneer Tikka Masala - had everything except paneer Butter Naan - half raw warm maida was served Veg Noodles - totally bland and very thick, no taste at all Gobhi Manchurian - Overcooked, gravy was bad, no chinese spices at all Dal Tadka - Full of oil, they agreed to take it back Overall very bad experience for food!

First the toilets very dirty and smelly. The quality of food was ordinary and price to quantity ratio not satisfactory. The ambience on the first floor was dimly lit and definitely not pleasant. It was humid as air conditioning was not working. Lift was not working.

Saisangeet has 2 stores in this premise- Bakery and restaurant. The bakery offers tea, fresh juices and sandwiches. The restaurant is a normal eatery with thalis - south and north Indian. Food is average and the price is very reasonable. It's next to iocl petrol pump and at its parking it has EV electric car charging by TATA.

Stopped for Dinner had Ghee Podi Dosa - pody was too salty had to return it. Ghee/Garlic Podi Dosa - Tasted good, Garlic podi was not spread properly it was in lumps. Surprisingly Ghee Garlic podi dosa is Rs60 more than regular Garlic Podi dosa. Too much for Ghee. Mini Idly - was good. Cholapuri - this is litter bigger than regular puri, the channa was sweeter. Mint Chutney was good.

Raghavendra K

The boys here are very good and enthusiastic in supporting the customers and fulfilling the order. The water sink was clogged and no one was there to set it right at all, the toilets were not so well maintained. The tables and seats have become old and that needs be changed for better comfort to the customer. The hotel people need to be more professionalistic
