Tried here because of the name Meenakshi bhavan... But the taste was very poor... quality needs to be improved a lot...

Only Go for meals not try Chinese food it's too oily. No veg and mushroom Biriyani available if we ask they give veg and mushroom fried rice and told we only provide like this. Before ask once you order Biriyani type food. But service is quite Good.

Go there for Veg South Indian Meals. They serve you on a banana leaf. Typical lovel food taste you will get. Meals is served with rice, 3 types of vegetables, one daal, samghar, rasam, butter milk along with papad. You also get served with a small portion of sweet. Apart from regular meals, they also have fried rice, tomato rice, lemob rice and biryani. You can stop there if you traveling from Madurai to Rameshwaram. Staff is very humble. Food is priced very reasonably.

The food at the place was average. I had food from there during my field work , breakfast was the best for me while dinner didn't taste that good.

Worst meals I ever had in aTamil Nadu hotel. Only thing that up to the mark in that meals was rice. Curries were too watery and were flowing through banana leaf. Payasam was like raw water with a pale milky color. To get rid of house flies landing on the food, you should wave your other hand continuously. After all they tried to loot money by forcing us to pay for an extra person, who was totally unknown to us. Just giving one star to enable "POST" button to submit this review
