APS Seafoods Restaurant

Dropped in for lunch and the only option available was the rice meals -- so we went with that. One nice touch was that they showed us a selection of raw fish and seafood before cooking, so we could choose what extras we wanted. We picked Crab Roast, Squid 65, Prawns 65, and a medium-sized fish fry (not sure of the name). The rice and the regular side curries were decent -- nothing exceptional, but satisfying. The squid and prawns were tasty, though a bit heavy on the food colouring, which took away from the overall appeal. The crab roast was excellent -- full of flavour and cooked just right. The extra fish fry we ordered was a bit bland, but interestingly, the fish fry that came with the meals was actually better. Food was served on banana leaves, which added a nice traditional touch. The staff were attentive and courteous, and although parking is on the roadside, there was plenty of space available, so it wasn't a hassle. Overall, a good lunch spot with a few standout dishes. Would visit again, especially for the seafood.

Meal was delicious. They use simple masalas, proper use of oil and taste was amazing The best part of meal was fish named Oswal was Crazy. The taste was totally different and aroma. It was pleasure dining at APS, special mention to the owner who stayed kept the restaurant open for me past 10.30 in the night. The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and had nice flavor. The menu offered a great variety, catering to both seafood lovers and those looking for lighter, flavorful options. The service was top-notch, my food arrived promptly, and the staff ensured I had everything I needed for a nice dining. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Exceptional food, impeccable service, and a nice atmosphere make it a dining experience worth repeating. Highly recommend.

APS Sea Food Restaurant, Rameshwaram - Overhyped and Underwhelming** We visited APS Seafood Restaurant after reading glowing reviews on Google, hoping for a memorable seafood experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. The place was almost empty when we arrived, which was our first red flag. The ambience felt more like a roadside joint, with basic tables and chairs. Their menu offered only veg and non-veg meals, with a tray displaying a small selection of fish, prawns, and crabs. The seafood was overpriced -- fish priced at 500 and crabs at 380 -- and the quantity was disappointing. We opted for the non-veg meals. While the fish curry was decent, the rest of the meal, including sambar and rasam, was bland and forgettable. The fried fish served with the meal was cold and tasted like leftovers. We also ordered fried fish separately, but it lacked both flavor and seasoning. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and certainly not worth the hype. Wouldn't recommend unless there are no other options available.

One of the best option in Rameshwaram for sea food lovers. Fish items really tasty and fresh. Good masala and well cooked.fish curry rice is good and tasty. Had biriyani , that was the worst option to had in this hotel. Rice not cooked well . No flavour. Prawns chukka is tasty and must try. Good customer service Can improve other food items ( other than fish dishes) taste better or avoid from menu and concentrate on dishes you can make better. Ambiance can be little better

We have tried Squid and one sea fish , that fish was good in taste but squid can be much better and it was too much gravy but should be more dry .

Don't get deceived with the look of the restaurant. Sea food is very fresh and very tasty. We ordered a big fish (forget the name), while frying, the cook (it was the owner as the chef was on leave) found the fish was little bit rubbery, so he gave us another fish without charging. Highly recommend.

Advantages:- 1. It was a nice experience to have lunch here Food was awesome. 2.If you won't eat prowns go for it. You won't feel like you are eating prowns. Disadvantages:- 1. The cost is higher than the expectations for sea foods as it's a coastal area.
