Hotel Aalayam Rameshwaram (Yatri Nivas)

We booked a family room for six people as the quad rooms (suitable for four persons) were unavailable. The room was spacious and decent in terms of facilities, but the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. For example, we noticed dust bags piled up near the staircase, which was unpleasant. When we raised this issue with the receptionist, we were informed that the maintenance staff was unavailable that day. The complimentary morning breakfast was acceptable, but nothing exceptional. However, the dinner buffet priced at 250 per person felt completely overpriced and not worth the cost, given the quality and overall experience. While the stay was manageable, the lack of cleanliness and the unjustifiable dinner pricing make it hard to recommend unless improvements are made.

It was a pleasant stay and very cooperative staff. Rooms were big and neat toilets with amenities. Ms. Visalakshi was very helpful since we were booking upto checkout. Highly recommend Aalayam.

This is a great budget-friendly option for anyone visiting Rameswaram. The room and toilet were clean, and the service was excellent. There's plenty of parking space available, and the restaurant offers a complimentary breakfast. The property has separate dormitory and hotel blocks, which is a nice touch. Highly recommended! One suggestion for the hotel management: it would be helpful to place a floor mat outside the washroom to keep the room from getting messy.

Wow, great option for people viting rameswaram. Highly budget friendly AC rooms, plenty of space, lots of rooms, and good service. Also they have a dine in space and the food items were superb. You will also get a goodie pack with soap, brush, toothpaste and comb which was handy. We tried food items like Paneer butter masala - 5/5 Chapthy - 4.5/5 Vegitable fried rice - 4/5 Plain dosa - 5/5 The place can accomodate large groups. Staffs were nice, hygienic place. Plenty of free parking space is available. We left our car there and took a cab to the temple, due to traffic and lack of parking place near the Ramanathswami temple. Awesome. Highly recommended to all.

In fact, the room was clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts of my stay was the exceptional service (11/10)--I just had to make one call, and everything I needed (like an extra towel or pillow) was delivered immediately. The TV and geyser were both fully operational, which made my stay even more comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the temple, and autos charge 100 per side. However, there is ample parking space if you're coming by car. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly stay with excellent service, a good breakfast, and all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended!
