I had visited this store in Jan25, when I felt pretty ok, so revisited in May25 At the time when we visited the store was totally empty despite that they took their own sweet time to serve the order or 3 items( 2 portions of Jumbo jigarthand and one portion of basundi) by the time they gave me the basundi we had finished the other 2 items and ready to leave. Exactly then he appears and places the basundi. Also the quantity served is less so making a margin out of the quantity as well, game well played as they have the taper shaped glasses. When asked about the quantity the reply was this is what we server here.

Today on 7th June 2024, Worst Experience I visited on "Madurai Famous Jigarthanda" near Rameshwaram Temple, I bought Amul Cup Icecream worth Rs. 20/- but store owner charged 25/- rupees and saying 5 rupees is logistic charges. Then I asked for bill so he denied. I just wanted to understand, Is it a right reason of charging extra amount on product or something else??

Scam Thanda, you will get only 20 ml of Jigarthanda with no icecream or flavor in it. Ready to shell out 60 rupees for hardly half a tumbler dummy Thanda. The audacity of shopkeeper literally shoos you away saying your feedback, bluntly respond it's a franchise and everything comes from madurai. Also , the outlet is unhygienic and super humid hot . A must avoid in Rameswaram. Especially, the scammers in Lungi, just ignore when they solicit you.

After dinner at Rajasthani Dabha near the entrance to the Rameswaram temple, we as a family stepped onto the Famous Jigarthanda outlet near the Dabha. Tasty Jigarthanda and Basundhi that is value for money. Downside is the heavy traffic on the road in which the outlet is located. Hence a challenge to park the vehicles. If you are willing to walk down a must try outlet in Rameswaram

The taste of fresh fruit juices were really amazing. It had the original taste of fruit with its pulp. The packing was also 10 on 10. A must try when in Rameshwaram.

The location as per Google Map is different from the exact location. This outlet is located next to hotel Saravana Bhavan. The outlet is not good. There is no cleanliness and basic amenities in the outlet. i tried jigarthanda, and the taste was not good. There are few other outlets in the nearby location and one can try it.

Tasty and wholesome. For the quantity they gave it is overpriced.
