Finding a good vegetarian place, in a place where you are already struggling with food is a blessing, especially for vegetarians. We were already tired of limited options in Yercaud, and when we found this one at Salem from where we had our bus from bangalore, we were excited for our lunch. As usual, the place has a lot of good vegetarian items to try, from snacks to proper lunch/dinner items. We tried Aloo Tikki chaat, mixed chaat, rabdi, corn paneer tomato bharta, veg pulao, rice, dal tadka, mushroom tikka, and a few mocktails, and all items were equally tasty. Unlike other locations like Ooty, this outlet was fairly empty so we had option of choosing our place. Also there is ample parking space available for 2w/4w.

Kailash Parbat is a great spot for authentic North Indian cuisine, offering a mix of chaats, starters, Chinese and soups. Their fresh juices are refreshing, but the real highlights are the KP Chaat platter, Vada Pav, rabdi kulfi and gulab jamun, both absolute must-tries. The rotis, sabzis, and garlic naan are well-prepared, making for a satisfying traditional meal. Whether you're craving street-style chaat or a hearty North Indian spread, this place delivers on both taste and quality.

Food was authentic North indian, Had Sev Puri which is always the way you get in Mumbai, must try. Pani puri was ok, but the Dal kichidi was authentic. This is best rice dish for a hot day in salem, not spicy not sweet it's perfect and soothing. Quantity is great. Good for 2 people. Tea is nice. Lot of parking space and ambience is good. Lot of seating space. It away from the main rd and hence less noises. Highly recommend it.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambience with comfortable seating arrangements. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu features a variety of North Indian dishes from starters to main course to desserts. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The restaurant also offers a variety of beverages to choose . Kailash Parbat is the perfect place to enjoy the food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Bombay chats have improved in quality. The bhindi dish was very nice. The Tikki Chat though could have been thicker. The service is pretty good. The variety of sweets is lacking, however.

Delicious food but tardy service. The starters were served quickly but the main course took a while. Decent ambience.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, including Tandoori Roti, mango lassi, lemon coriander soup, Veg Seekh Kebab, and paneer gravy. The overall dining experience was satisfying, with the paneer gravy standing out as top-notch, perfectly complementing the meal. The mango lassi also impressed with its rich, refreshing flavor. However, the lemon coriander soup didn't quite meet my expectations, as the taste was not to my liking. Additionally, the dining space felt a bit congested, which affected the overall comfort of the experience.

Well the best chat and northie food in Salem town. We tried pani-puri, tikki chat, roti basket and Paneer gravy. Mouth watering, clean good food, clean toilet, ample free parking. Would certainly come back again.
