I went to this Hotel after 15+yrs, this place was very close to my Grandma's home. They were legendary is serving porota kurma, they have lost the midas touch on this item. Their chicken biryani is good but for Rs 210 the quantity seemed very less. They are also good at serving non veg meals with chicken, mutton and fish gravy. This place is near Salem town railway station and one of their very old branch before becoming famous or commercial. Parking for 2 wheeler is available in front of the hotel.

Gem of a place to have really good South Indian food. Chicken Briyani is my all time favourite and their chicken 65 was outstanding. Also tried the pepper chicken boneless. Make sure to customise your briyani with Chicken Drumstick or normal chicken pieces. It's a thing here, you can choose what kind of piece you'd like in your briyani. I've tried the in-house service -they always serve food on banana leaf which elevates the taste. Take away packing is very traditional, a layer of packaging paper and banana leaf to give you the exact taste and portion was standard. My visits to Salem are never complete without a visit here.

Good choice for non vegetation lovers. Meals and briyani are my favorite. Price is slightly on the high side for me but value for money.

I ordered for a chilli parota with chicken 65 boneless. Chilli parota was above average in taste and boneless chicken 65 was juicey and tasty o chew.

Seeraga samba biriyani was good. Nice restaurant to try various non vegetarian dishes.

Today we ordered food from Selvi mess, Kitchipalayam. We found these mosquitoes in our idli which we ordered. This shows their quality of preparation. Very bad. Highly recommended to avoid for children.

Went to this mess for lunch. Had a good experience. Ordered an empty briyani, non veg meals with starters kaadai 65 and koththu kari. Let me rate each dish I believe food should not be rated. Everyone has a different taste. Rating with the numbers would generally help Koththu Kari Taste is good. But masala is overshadowed the actual taste of the meat.If you like masala flavour more. Try it 3/5 Empty Briyani Tasted as same as normal briyani. It comes up with a boiled egg. They served Non veg gravy for it. 4/5 If you are in budget constraints Kaadai 65 Deep fried meat served with onion and lime. I have tasted this dish in many hotels. But believe me this one is too good. If you want to try a new dish other than chicken or mutton. This is for you. 4/5 Other than these we ordered Kalaki and half boiled. 3/5 They are using groundnut oil for the spread. If you do like the nutty smell over these you can try it. For everytime we asked for the above mentioned dishes he patiently served with a little smile. Gobi Machrian and omelette its super tasty combination. Dosa its crisy with Samba (lentil ), its a lovely surprise. lovely restaurant.
