Anjappar grand

We bought chicken and mutton briyani! The chicken briyani had chicken liver instead of chicken which was disappointing and briyani was okay. We also had an expensive barbeque chicken which was decent in taste.

A new branch for Anjappar in Madurai Annanagar. Interior decor is good and pleasant. Seating is comfortable. 4-5 cars can be parked inside their place and.rest would be street parking. Had mutton biryani, wheat parotta, mutton chukka, naan, paneer butter masala and chicken kabab. As usual all the dishes were good. The wheat parotta deserves a special mention. It was so soft and tasted too good. The staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. They have separate restrooms for men & women inside the hand wash area. Neat and well maintained.

We recently had dinner at Anjappar and were impressed by the warm and welcoming staff. The food was excellent, especially the Mutton Chukka, which stood out for its flavor. The Mutton Chukka + Ceylon Porotta combo was a true highlight, with the freshly made porotta perfectly complementing the Chukka. We also enjoyed the Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani, and Kadai Vegetable Curry, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. It's important to note that the pricing at Anjappar is on the higher side compared to other restaurants. While the quality and taste of the food justify the price to some extent, it's worth considering before your visit. Overall, Anjappar offers a delightful dining experience with excellent food and attentive service. However, be mindful of the higher pricing if you are budget-conscious.

An excellent hotel situated in Anna nagar ,heard that this was opened very recently around 3 months only. Actually we entered the hotel very soon for lunch by 11.45am itself , surprisingly all items were ready by that time and the staffs welcomed us very happily. Ordered the signature mutton seeragasamba biriyani which is definitely a must try here. The flavour of biriyani is extraordinary with approx 6 very big tender mutton pieces and a boiled egg. The quantity is enough for a normal person ,the mutton was well cooked. Biriyani costs around RS 300 The executive recommended their anjappar spl chicken fry which was really good with good boneless pieces with a pepper touch. Price RS 220 Next menu was suvarotti or spleen which is a must try here ,good pieces with excellent masala. RS 260 Also ordered wheat parota and the staff recommended paneer khurban masala for takeaway. Both were excellent. Finished with a good chocolate ice-cream. Prices are little high,but definitely you can pay for their quality of food,the hygiene and for their excellent taste. Staffs were so good and patiently serving. Card payments accepted. Good ambience with proper seating. Can park around 3 card at entrance of hotel. Must try hotel

Great restaurant! We were looking for food around 11:00 pm and got here 5 minutes past 11:00. They accommodated us even though they close at 11:00 pm. The food is very tasty and service is next level! Everyone is always checking on you multiple times, refill condiments without asking. We ended up visiting again next evening also.

My recent visit to Anjaapar restaurant was bad..... Unfortunately, the overall experience was spoiled by the incredibly rude behavior of the waitstaff. Their attitude was unwelcoming, and it significantly impacted the enjoyment of the meal. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the painfully slow service. It took an unreasonably long time for our orders to be taken and, subsequently, for the dishes to be served. This extended waiting period not only tested our patience but also cast a shadow over what should have been a pleasant dining experience. In light of these issues, I find it difficult to recommend Anjaapar. The combination of rude service and extended wait times left a negative impression.

Very good service with best food. Must try in madurai Anna Nagar.... Very humble persons.... Mr.siva responded best....
