Ambur Star Briyani - Perundurai Bypass Erode

Ambur Star Biryani, located along the Perundurai Bhavani road alongside A2B, has potential but falls short in several areas. Ambience & Cleanliness: The ambience was decent, but maintenance was a major issue. The entrance and dining area were not clean, and tables and water tumblers were poorly maintained. The restrooms were below average, with stains and no tissues available, making the overall hygiene standards disappointing. Food Quality & Quantity: While the taste was commendable, the quantity left much to be desired. The biryani portions were small for the price, requiring two servings to feel satisfied. Similarly, the pepper chicken dish had just 7-8 small pieces, which felt insufficient. Overall Experience: The restaurant has scope for improvement in cleanliness, portion sizes, and overall upkeep. Though the food tasted good, these factors detracted from the dining experience. A few upgrades in maintenance and serving portions could significantly enhance the appeal. Would recommend only if you're looking for a quick bite and are not too concerned about ambience or quantity.

Biriyani is not worth paying the price. We were two people and the bill was 900. Every item mentioned in the menu is over priced. We ordered mutton and chicken biryani, of course ambur style( they claim). Very few pieces of chicken and mutton are included with rice. considering the amount we pay for the food they could have given a few more pieces of chicken and mutton. Never order chicken chinthamani. It's a scam. You will get 2-3 pieces of chicken with lots of onion cooked along with it. And we have to pay a hefty 219 rupees for that. Lime juice need a special mention. Is not fresh lime and cost 50 rupees per glass. Better look for some other restaurants. This restaurant is not worth recommending. Upi and cash payment accepted. The dining and parking area is spacious. The building includes other shops. A cricket net bowling area is provided for those who love playing cricket.

While driving thru on highway, I stopped for dinner at this restaurant,,, it was a Sunday, only very fee seats were occupied... still i had some hope for the regular Stat briyani brand name and hence decided to try... I asked a mutton briyani, the time was only around 7:40pm, they simply told mutton briyani is finished, only chicken briyani ,mutton Kuska is available... so I ordered mutton kuska with a chicken chinthaamani... literally they so called briyani which they brought was utterly a spicy flavored powder costed rice full on a plate... it was not at all like amber Star briyani... and the chicken chinthanimani was my only hope and It atleast had managed my days dinner there... If u wish to have or feel the good taste of amber star briyani, don't ever think even to step in here... Not worth for the money...will definitely never ever visit again , despite your bills bottom quote thanks us n asking for visit again....

Briyani is top notch here. But we ordered Mutton briyani in which Mutton is not tender. But tastes good. Service is good but the hotel is not fresh, it's somewhat not upto the mark. Don't expect Pepsi, coke or even soda. Only they will bring sorbet. Nice location in middle of coimbatore and Salem.

Apart from the price, food taste and ambience were good at this place. It is located inside a complex where several stores can be seen. Staffs are good with better taste of biryani. Only the price factor is high. You will find ample parking space and located on the highway from Coimbatore to Salem. Complex had some other children attractions too.

Too costly and they are thief by providing minimal range of items and ac is off and they saving eb bill by turn off all the lights

Biryani doesn't taste like the authentic star ambur biriyani. Rice was sticky and overcooked. Masala is also not good. Service is also bad. If you're planning to stop here for ambur biriyani, please don't stop here. You will be disappointed as us.

Nice ambience... ample parking space... spacious dining area...neat & tidy ... Polite staffs... famous for non-vegetarian briyani...has unique making style and taste it seems... Lots of options for non-vegetarian lovers...not much options for vegetarians..but vegetarian dishes making is fresh...Roti is good...
