Hotel Padmavathi

Everything about this place was a major turn off. We went to have tea with a small snack around 10 and there were no food items available. They informed us tea is available but it was taking almost 45 mins and finally when we tasted it , it wasn't great and was very watery. Considering the location if they could improve on the service and taste they can improve their business.

We have gone here for dinner. Limited food varieties. But taste and quality of the food was very good.. service was quick and place is neat and clean. Ample parking space. Good one on the way to Arakonam

A good place to have a meal when you are traveling from Chennai to Arakkonam. The meals is average, the provided fried rice items are good. We can't expect tasty and delicious from this hotel. Since there is not restaurants nearby this location, I can rate 3.5 starts. Sometimes it looks like one of the restaurants seen in Courage the cowardly dog shows . Just kidding, one of the average restaurant you can go with family and have your meal just to vanish your hunger.

A medium class vegetarian restaurant in this surrounding area. Many times me and my friends had lunch here. We ordered veg- biriyani, chappathi and parotta. All are very delicious. Some times we took meals parcels. Meals also not bad. But some times, taste of sambar was not good because of changes of catering Masters. Lunch: 1. Vegetarian Meals 2. Veg - biriyani 3. Parotta 4. Chappathi 5. Variety rice. This manu changes each and every day.

This is the only decent vegetarian hotel if you are travelling to Arakonam via Thiruvallur. It has decent parking space.. staff are polite and also i felt budget friendly. Cons: Their hygiene. There was a dead mosquito in the coconut chutney which was served to me.. so you should dine in at your own risk.

From Poonamalli to Arakkonam route along Mappedu so far no decent hotel was there earlier.As a person having travelled widely for more than 40 years during official career I can say this is the first big decent hotel on this road.Capacity to serve nearly 50 guests and facility of wash rooms, parking space are all positive things about this hotel.Food items especially tiffin varieties are good.Meals may be a little spicy but okay.A major negative factor is serving by the staff.May be shortage but still they could setve faster. Employing locals may be a reason.But on the whole a welcome first hotel in a stretch of about 40kms.

It tasted like home cooked food. Service also very good.
