Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B

Restrooms could have been much more cleaner. Food served was not hot during the rush hour made me wonder. Staffs and service are as usual comparing to other Adyar Ananda Bhavan. Overall average pit stop for lunch or dinner while on the way to Thanjavur from Srirangam.

This hotel's outside elevation is so beautiful that it stops you to make a visit there. Even though the food is tasty the service is very slow, staff to the customer ratio is very low, housekeeping staff are busier than servers as they are only 1 or 2. Restaurant team should take care of the service otherwise the food is excellent, if you're not very hungry you can go here.

Recently I had lunch with my family at this A2B. Food as usual is good like other A2B's. The atmosphere is quite good. Great parking facilities and their staff are very helpful even during the rainy time. SERVICE: The order service took by that captain was not good with us. A2B Tanjore needs to train their captains/supervisors (not everyone I think) well for handling people.

Food is good but quantity is less for the price. Always crowded and need more staff to attend to the customers.

I recently visited A2B on the Tanjore highway. The food was mostly good. I had breakfast with idli, rava dosa ghee roast, and poori. Both the dosa and poori were good, though the poori was a bit oily. The idli had a rich taste, and the vadai was also delicious. The pongal was excellent, overloaded with ghee. The tea and coffee were superb, with the coffee having a particularly rich flavor. However, the overall cost was a bit high, over 1000. Despite this, the service was exceptional. I accidentally left my mobile phone behind, but a cleaner found it and kindly returned it to me, which left me with a heartfelt feeling of appreciation for their genuine service. The restaurant also has adequate parking space and is easy to spot as it is located right beside the highway.

We ordered idiyappam, Ghee roast, Pongal, Idly, Paneer dose, Every dish was tasty. Service was quick. My recommendations are paneer dose, Pongal and coffee

Good place to stop for BF lunch dinner tinnin. Never disappoint but puncture your purse....

Usually the parotta at A2B isn't great, it lacks that personal touch. But today's parotta? It was amazing! So flaky, buttery, and perfectly crisp, and the thin vegetable gravy was the perfect match. The gravy soaked into the layers, making every bite a flavor explosion. Ripping it apart, dipping it in the gravy, and eating it was an experience.
