Dropped by Uma Mess for a quick lunch and ended up loving it! The food was fresh, flavorful, and not too oily. Simple setup but very clean and well-maintained. Ideal for those who enjoy traditional South Indian meals

Visited Uma Mess today and ordered non-veg meals -- totally disappointed. The food was tasteless and lacked any proper seasoning. Overall, a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the hype.

Great fine fine place in Thanjavur for Authentic Madurai food. Brilliant menu. Amazing taste. Great hospitality. Must try Non-Veg meals and Crab omelette. I love Kola Balls! Must try too. And biriyani taste excellent. Highly recommended for family and group dining.

I recently visited a restaurant in Thanjavur and ordered the Paneer Butter Masala--it was a complete disappointment. The paneer was uncooked, rubbery, and tasted old, clearly not fresh or suitable for serving. Worse, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional when I pointed it out. There was no apology, and they showed no interest in addressing the complaint. I even had to complain to the ship safety officer due to the poor food quality and service. No one should go to this restaurant if they care about hygiene, quality food, or respectful treatment. Totally unacceptable experience. Not recommended at all.

Authentic food in a modern restaurant!!! The food is very tasty with traditional Chettinadu flavours!!! The staff is very polite and always available at our service!!! Food is prepared fresh and served with minimal time!!! Rates are marked correctly with no high end pricing!!! Very ideal for all sort of dining - solo, family, corporate etc.,

Pathetic experience... Waited for half n hour not even provided glass and water... After minutes I shouted them to provide atleast glass and water they took 10 mins for this then she provided glass and water. After providing I was waiting to give orders but no one came forward to take orders the I asked one of the waiter to whom gonna take the order she replied she will come. Half n hour passed... Still we were waiting but no one came to take orders 35 mins passed... Shouted the waiter What a pathetic service you people are providing... Seriously it was disgusting... Never ever will go to this restaurant when they can't take care of the customers and never suggest to any one ever.

Delicious south indian style non veg menus must try spot homestyle cooking with reasonable price. Service very nice

No AC, no Fan, attenders not even listening to the customers. After asking several times Served sambar at the last.
