We had Poratta and Podi Dosai for dinner yesterday....9.25 pm they were pushing us ...asked them why...?? Said they work from 5.30 AM to 9.30 PM ... very good taste...that podi's taste was lingering around the mouth for a longtime...and morning 4.30 ..I was hungry..that homely food...again...went for breakfast this morning. ..had Poori and Pongal ...fantastic taste...and Coffee was pramaadham ..wow.. paid only 138 rupees
Good vegetarian hotel. Reasonable price.
Dosai and sambar ok.. But coffee is very bad.. Full water with less milk .

Was a visitor to Thanjavur and looking for a Filter Cafe and got this small restaurant suggested by people close by. When we entered, we were little apprehensive, but quality of food that we got to taste in this restaurant surprised us! Dosa, Chutney, Sambar and Filter Coffee was too good and we thoroughly enjoyed them and prices were also moderate. Wash area is also kept neat and clean, which is another plus. Only minus could be availability of parking place, but it's expected considering it's size and location. Inspite of this still am giving 5 stars, because of its quality food and prompt service!
